Olly Murs hammers down the brick wall that's separating him from his heartbroken on-screen love Demi Lovato in a tense and emotional new video for their emotional duet "Up," the second single from the British singer's latest fourth album, "Never Been Better." It's just as moody as you'd expect for a song about a flailing relationship and the devoted love of a couple for one another and that they will definitely overcome the troubles that currently affect them.
The "Troublemaker" crooner and the "Heart Attack" hottie songstress trade verses about heartbreak, all while smashing various household items from guitars, to flower vases to pillows, perfectly depicting the frustration and pain you feel when going through a split. But, just as the lyrics suggest, there's a glimmer of hope that things will be looking, well, up, for this failing relationship. Together, the pair are like a whole demolition crew of emotion as they are seen leaning on the opposite sides of a wall as they sing about fighting to keep a relationship alive.
The shadowy video, directed by Ben and Gabe Turner, is a bit dark but emotions run high, with both artist brooding in bare rooms and having breakdowns on either side of a brick wall, as they portray the varying emotional stages of the uplifting soaring ballad. Murs lamenting a broken relationship in his living room, singing "Just tell me it's not the end of the line" before Lovato comes in on the chorus and on the other side of his wall to apologize for breaking his heart. Demi Lovato take over Los Angeles' Gay Pride Parade, celebrating with the crowd and sending a clear message to all the haters with her powerful pop-anthem, "Really Don't Care," and brought it to life by sing with the crowd, party with her friends and brush off all those haters. The LGBTQ-friendly clip features a number of celebrity cameos, including the singer's boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, Perez Hilton, Kat Graham, Shane Bitney Cone and British pop singer Cher Lloyd, who lends her vocals and spitting out her sassy verse to the track.
The uptempo dance-pop breakup song, the fourth single off her self titled fourth album "Demi," finds Lovato sending a message of defiance with her "angsty" and "overpowering pipes" vocals to a former lover that their split is for good and she won't change her mind. "For me it was just about a breakup a while ago," Lovato explained. "And now it's just an overall of thinking and not giving a s--t about what people say or what people think about you and your beliefs." The pair met when Lloyd, who was a finalist on the UK's 2010 X Factor performed on the American version of the show, where Lovato is a judge.
"When I originally wrote it, it was a breakup song," the pop performer told E! News. "But now I have sung it so many times that it kind of no longer has a significance in that sort of way. When I sing it, I always want to inspire and empower." After thinking more about the song she wanted it to have "a deeper message" since she stands for much more than that. "I thought what other people could relate to really not caring what people think. I thought of bullies and the LGBT community who are constantly scrutinized. What better place is there than L.A. Pride to celebrate who you are and not really caring what people think?"
Shot at L.A.'s gay pride festival, where Lovato served as the Grand Marshall and performed, the video opens with Lovato telling the crowd that a protester at the parade "has a burn in hell poster' and that "you don't have to hate because my Jesus loves all." The pop star, dressed in leather with rainbow hair, then opens with her song as she marches down the parade on a float as LGBT supporters surround her dancing, celebrating and proudly belting out the lyrics. "And it felt amazing to sing with other people in their faces and sing "I really don't care," Lovato told MTV News.

The Vamps + Demi Lovato for "Somebody to You"

The Vamps unveiled the sun-drenched video to their newly vamped summer jam "Somebody To You," featuring Demi Lovato, the fourth single from the British pop rock band's debut album "Meet The Vamps," which hit no.2 on the U.K. chart back in April. If you need proof that The Vamps were ready for summer, look no further than their "Somebody to You" video! The UK quartet, as "acoustic-driven indie pop," revamped a new version of their single "Somebody to You" by adding former Disney starlet the mix, where Lovato adds vocals to the second verse and the chorus.
This powerful pop song, "Somebody To You," is upbeat, breezy and totally perfect for the warmer weather. As the boys sing about wanting to change their relationship status from contently single to crazy in love. "Look at me now, I'm falling / I can't even talk, still stuttering / This ground of mine keeps shaking," they reveal on the thumping track. Lovato nabs the second verse and sings, "I used to ride around / I didn't want to settle down." The two acts join forces on the final chorus, injecting the little love song that could with a lot more power and sweetness than before.
The English rockers head to California's sunny Malibu beach for the Emil Nava-directed summery clip and perform the sing-a-long pop-rock anthem on a makeshift stage in the sand. The guys soak up the sun, hanging around the beach when they spot a group of girls who catch their attention. The dreamy frontman Bradley Simpson totally falls for Laura Marano after spending time together by playing volleyball, kicking around the soccer ball, and flirting by the swimming pool before the song cuts to Lovato on the beach, as well.
As the sun goes down, the party heats up. The guys host an intimate ocean-front concert for an enthusiastic audience of dancing fans, leading them to clap their way through the chorus, which is where Lovato shows up to perform her guest vocals alongside of the guys. She clearly wasn't available on the same day, so her scenes are a little disjointed. The "Heart Attack" hitmaker just sits around and looks pretty before twirling in some fluttering curtains. Demi Lovato is burning up like "Neon Lights"

After teasing all week, Demi Lovato has finally revealed her sexiest video to date with a rave party for her latest single "Neon Lights," and the 21-year-old songbird is showing off her sexy side in the clip, which looks like a wild, rave-inspired dance party. The Ryan Tedder-produced dance-pop number is the third single from the pop singer's latest self-titled fourth album. "Neon Lights" certainly falls into the "dance-pop generic" category, but it's radio-friendly and gears you pumped up.
Lovato penned this synth anthem with Ryan Tedder and Noel Zancanella. The pair, who previously worked with the singer on her 2011 Unbroken track "Who's That Boy?" also produced the tune. Tedder revealed that the idea to produce the song was his own. He stated: "That record we did intentionally because I wanted to... I heard it on her demo-reel and the next day I woke up and the melody was in my head, and I couldn't get it out of my head for two days, that's when I knew." Speaking about Lovato's vocals on the song, Tedder added: "She came in and just ripped it. She, in pop music has one of the biggest ranges, possibly the highest full voice singer I've ever worked with."
The new video for "Neon Lights" may be a preview of what we can expect from the "X Factor" judge when she hits the road for the upcoming Neon Lights Tour starting February 9 in Vancouver. The girls-only tour features opening acts, and "X Factor" alums, girl groups Fifth Harmony, Little Mix and newlywed Cher Lloyd. "I think it's going to be so much fun," Lovato told Ryan Seacrest in September. "There's nothing better than woman empowerment and having an all-girl tour. What's ironic is we are all from 'The X Factor,' and that wasn't even planned - it just kind of happened that way. I helped put Fifth Harmony together and watching them now, they're going to be opening for me, it's so awesome."

Demi Lovato gets somber and chilly in "Let It Go"

No word yet on a “Neon Lights” video treatment, but Demi Lovato has given fans a nice stopgap as she juggles a thousand-and-one projects (The X Factor! Glee! Touring! Promoting her own music!) by contributing the song "Let It Go," which is featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming Disney animated flick, "Frozen," and she sings in the dark and is surrounded by ice and snowflakes in her newest simple-but-sweet video for the track. In typical soundtrack style, it's footage of Lovato intercut with footage of the film, but the Demetria-centric stuff is lovely.
Disney's newest musical-fantasy, opens in US theaters on Thanksgiving. is loosely based on Hans Christian Anderson's fairly tale of a young girl named Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell), a fearless optimist, who sets off on an epic journey-teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf (voice of Josh Gad), Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom."
"Let it go, let it go / Can't hold it back anymore," the 21-year-old 'X Factor' judge passionately sings in the chorus of the emotive liberation-themed power ballad. Then, "Standing frozen / In the life I've chosen / You won't find me / The past is all behind me," go the powerful lyrics of the propulsive bridge. "Let It Go" was penned by couple Robert Lopez & Kristen Anderson-Lopez. The song was originally performed by Broadway queen Idina Menzel who plays the central role of Elsa and performs the song in "Frozen" itself, but Lovato's powerful pipes absolutely demolish it.
Winter comes early in Lovato's new clip which is set in a mansion, atop a snowy mountain, where the glam singer, still in her blond-hair era, looks a bit sullen is bundled up in black, lacy Gothic dress inside a cold, dark and abandoned mansion and all of its furniture is covered in white sheets. As Lovato makes her way through the estate, even sitting at the piano, playing with some of the treasures, and expressively pours her heart out. With every room Lovato goes through, it seems she begins to feel more and more empowered. When she hits her most inspiring notes, she's suddenly a new woman with a gorgeous white gown, and throws the covers off of the furniture and the mansion is full of sunlight. The video's empowering message certainly pays homage to the film.

Demi Lovato sings love being "Made in the USA"

Demi Lovato celebrates unbreakable American romance in her just-dropped military themed music video for her frothy, airy, top down summer anthem, "Made in the USA" and it's a heart touching and steamy story of young love, and their romance from first meeting to him being sent off to war. The 20-year-old singer-songwriter and actress also made her directorial debut in this heartwarming music video for "Made in the USA," the second single from the pop singer's flaw-free self-titled fourth studio album, "Demi," in stores since May 14 via Hollywood Records.
Produced too by The Suspex, the uptempo pop rock "Made in the USA," that celebrates an everlasting American romantic relationship. Lyrically, this patriotic love song is inspired by "American romantic love stories" dating back to the 1930s. "It's like our love was made in the USA," co-writer Jason Evigan explained. The updates were inspired by Lovato's real-life experiences, making it a personal track for the singer. "This song is 100 per cent real to Demi now," said Evigan. "During the session, I can't say what, there was definitely some talk going on. She was talking about how this relates to her life in certain ways, all about her love being made in the USA. She owned it. She freestyled it out and made it awesome."
"Made in the USA," is the right comparison of bubblegum fun and Lovato's overpowering pipes, and kind of very reminiscing to the vibe going on in Miley Cyrus' "Party in the USA" hit, where Lovato pours her emotions out singing very catchy lyrics, and a potent chorus to her boyfriend about how amazing and patriotic their love is. As for its new video, is much more expansive and plot-driven, with Lovato serving as the chorus for a love tale as wholesome as apple pie. As she explained during a 'behind-the-scenes' interview the storyline was something like; "a couple who meet at a carnival, and fall head over heels in love."
Time moves loosely in the dreamy visual, playing out like a series of memories. The epic patriotic love story was narrated by the stunning pop star herself, 90210's Dustin Milligan who plays a soldier separated from his girlfriend, former Friday Night Lights' Aimee Teegarden and they meet at the fairgrounds and fall head-over-heels in love with each other, which includes "The Notebook"-inspired steamy kisses in the rain. The paint-spattered arty arty clip captures the vulnerable songstress emerging from an ink bath before fresh-faced close-ups and a wind-blown performance in an illuminated hallway and it definitely shows the 20-year-old ultimate Disney princess' edgy side!
This celebration of life and love "Heart Attack," is a monster electropop song that employs cardiac arrest as a metaphor for lovesickness. "The title is just about falling in love and taking that risk," Lovato told MTV News she thinks she'd "have a heart attack" if she ever let her guard down. "But, she's terrified and, by 'she,' I mean me. I think everyone comes to a point where they feel very vulnerable in falling in love and that's what I'm talking about. It's about me being really scared to fall in love again after being rejected, after feeling so fragile and vulnerable all the time - thinking, I don't know if I can do this ever again!"
Lovato's had plenty to deal with over the course of her career, but it goes without saying that she's come out on top a million times over, what with her stint on "The X Factor," and a brand-new forthcoming new record, "Demi." "Heart Attack" to works of electronic dance music and Kelly Clarkson-esque wailing, while describing it was more of an "electronic feel" than her previous work. Despite everything that's going on in terms of instrumentation and production, Lovato's vocals are still at center stage, showcasing an impressive range of octaves and holding power. "Heart Attack" shows her incredibility, and musically and vocally, it shows just how strong she is.
Lovato is showing her dark and light sides in the Chris Applebaum-directed clip, which opens with Lovato gazing directly at us and prepares for battle and puts her defenses up before diving into a simple, yet hyper-stylized sequence, as she pits two Lovato against each other: a hardcore and an aggressive rocker versus an artistic, vulnerable young lady all at once. Maybe in a little time, the two can learn to live harmoniously. But, by all accounts, what the edgy look she adopted on set was even more impressive. By the end of the clip, the paint, like Lovato's emotions, has run all over the place, leaving the singer smudged but steadfast in her resolve to stay strong since she'll do anything to stop those mushy feelings from sinking in.

Demi Lovato Trys To "Give Your Heart A Break"

Demi Lovato unveiled a video for her new tender track "Give Your Heart a Break," the second single from Lovato's third album, "Unbroken." Definitely one of the highlights on her latest album, the new track is a clever, well-written, and well-sung mid-tempo pop song. Its three and a half minutes worth of footage shows the singer and a hunky romantic interest in a range of flirty and cuddly moments as Lovato belts out her catchy tune.
Musically, "Give Your Heart a Break" is an uptempo pop and dance ballad that incorporates the use of drums, violin and strings, and contains influences of rock music as well as music from the 80s and 90s. Lyrically, the song chronicles an attempt to win over one who has been hurt from a previous relationship, and wanting someone to open his heart to her and to give her a chance. According to MTV, she explained that despite the play on the word "heartbreak" in the title, the song is about the exact opposite. "It isn't a song about having a broken heart. This is a song about faith, it's a song about fighting for the one you love," she said.
Go far and beyond anything in Lovato's prior arsenal, the track is oh-so-catchy and her vocals effortlessly mop the floor with your fave’s wig. The 19-year-old Stay Strong diva dished about the video in an interview with MTV: "The new music video, I'm basically trying to convince a guy that I didn't break his heart, and we get into a fight and I try to win him over again. The Justin Francis-directed clip tells a pretty typical story of young love followed by heartbreak, as it mostly just shows a regretful Lovato reminiscing about the good times she had with her former 'hunky' love via some old pictures, and ultimately making a huge collage on a wall in front of her ex-boyfriend's apartment so he can check it out, so maybe they can work things out again?

Demi Lovato is ready to get back to the music, her simplistic music video for her first post-rehab empowering tune, "Skyscraper," premiered Wednesday on E! News. The first single taken from her upcoming third studio album, "Skyscraper," which she said helped her confront her issues before she landed in treatment late last fall for eating disorders and self-mutilation. The "Sonny with a Chance" cutie pairs her emotional lyrics with simple visuals, has already made an impressive start to her career comeback, and this new video is yet another huge step in the right direction.
The new turn now to go with that the words "Stay" and "Strong" tattooed on her wrists as she moves. "Skyscraper" is all about wrestling with life's struggles and standing tall in the face of adversity. The tune is pretty inspiring, and Lovato's raspy, crying-out vocal sounds gorgeous. The ballad showcases the 18-year-old's quivering voice as she sings about 'catching teardrops in my hands,' but her strength allows to keep 'rising from the ground, like a skyscraper.' The singer eventually displays her powerful range as breathy backing vocals and heavy percussion fill in the spaces left by a lonely piano in the beginning of the track, which is mournful, fitting in with the somber vibe we predicted from this tune. Lovato's bravura vocal performance turn this into something truly special.
Barefoot and wearing a plain white dress, Lovato belts her heart out from an empty desert in Mark Pellington-directed new video. "It's On" From Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato

The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato just released their new music video for the track, "It's On," off the TV-movie "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" soundtrack Friday on Disney Channel. The Brandon Dickerson directed video gives fans a glimpse on what they'll see in the upcoming movie, and also showing Lovato and popular hip-hop artist Matthew 'Mdot' Finley go head to head. Choreographed by the movie's Rosero McCoy, it's the first-ever concept music video from the leading channel for kids, tweens and families.
The new video, features Lovato and the three Brothers rock out with the rest of the cast of Camp Rock 2, was made just after they wrapped the Disney movie "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam," which will premiere September 3 on Disney Channel, the guys say that the video perfectly encapsulates the vibe of the sequel. "We shot [the video] back in September, October, and it was a great experience," Joe Jonas told MTV News at the Young Hollywood Awards on Thursday night. "We were able to get back with the cast, and the video was really fun. Joe added that the video, which was directed by Brandon Dickerson, will give fans a taste of what they will see in the flick. "It has a lot of pieces to the puzzle to what people will see when the movie does come out," he said. "I think it's also a little something of what people are going to see when we go out on tour."
"The video is a really cool concept," Kevin Jonas continued. "It takes on the aspect of the music and just the intensity, the high energy of what the song is. What's cool is just the passion of all the people who are singing." Nick explained that it was a bit of a high-intensity shoot since they filmed "It's On" at night. "It was good. It was a long night. We shot it overnight, 'cause we wrapped the movie with night shoots so from basically 10 [at night] to 10 in the morning every day [we shot the movie]," he said. "And after the movie wrapped, we shot the video, so we had to stay on that schedule. We stayed up all night and then [had] a flight on the next day. It was [an experience] we'll never forget."
The movie's soundtrack, meanwhile, will be made available for purchase nationwide on July 27 on Walt Disney Records with 15 original songs that span hip-hop, pop/rock and dance, and is the biggest, broadest music yet for a Disney Channel Original Movie. In support of the TV movie and the theme songs, Jonas Brothers will be going on a tour with their co-stars beginning July 27 in Dallas, Texas. In addition, the band along with Lovato will perform on "Good Morning America" this coming Tuesday, May 18.

We The Kings' "We'll Be A Dream" f/ Demi Lovato

Despite the chaotic scene resulted from 'a feathers battle,' people are quite enjoying themselves as they put on huge smile in this video. It's a gorgeous glimpse at an I wanna live forever night and a look at the kind of fight that everyone wins. The tune is served as the second single off We The Kings's sophomore studio album "Smile Kid," which has hit the market since December 2009.
We The Kings are an unapologetically commercial pop-punk band hailing from Bradenton, Florida have made a name for themselves with over 55 million plays on MySpace alone. They are currently signed to the independent label S-Curve Records. Lovato is edging it up a bit for her pop-rock song with We The Kings to follow up her recent duet with boyfriend Joe Jonas, "Make a Wave," for the eco-conscious film "Oceans." Lovato will also appearance on upcoming episode of Grey's Anatomy in May 13.
The mid-tempo ballad track is about young love and two people sharing their dreams of making it big someday, depicted in the video as a dreamy escape into a world of pillow, water balloon and food fights. The video was shot in Elysian Park in Los Angeles earlier this year and includes a live performance scene from the Travis Clark-fronted band.
Lovato first appears in the clip walking through the forest with feathers flying as the teens laugh their way through a pillow fight. She then hits the stage and lends her vocal for a performance of the song, while lustful glances are exchanged between two teens in the audience in the midst of the craziness going on around them. The partygoers settle down and simply start enjoying the song. Lovato appears to settle into her role as rocker, while she and the band's lead singer, Travis Clark, smile and have a good time onstage.

Joe Jonas & Demi Lovato Debut "Make a Wave"

Teen queen Demi Lovato and teen heartthrob Joe Jonas has just been premiered their official music video for Disney's "Friends for Change: Project Green" anthem "Make a Wave" today on Disney Channel. It gives a look at the singing duo, Jonas Brothers' lead vocalist and his "Camp Rock" co-star, hitting the studio as well as flirting playfully with each other on Malibu beach while singing the song. The footage of sea animals like dolphin and seal swimming in the ocean is also featured in it.
The two have gone to Disney World at the Epcot theme park in Orlando on February 11 to perform their duet live for the very first time. The inspirational song "Make A Wave" itself is a charity group formed by Disney for their "Friends for Change" campaign, it was introduce and performed at Walt Disney World® Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL. during the "Celebrate Family Volunteers" and to be featured in the upcoming Disneynature film "OCEANS," hits theaters on Earth Day, April 22. The song has debuted on Radio Disney February 26, while the music video will launch online tomorrow at Disney.com. "Make A Wave" will be available beginning Monday on iTunes, with all proceeds benefiting environmental charities around the world through the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund (DWCF).
Lavato says that the message in the song is "basically if you throw a pebble into water it can make a wave. So do your part to make a difference." She also talks about how fun it was to work with Joe and to be touring around with him. They are best friends after all, and who wouldn't want to be on tour with their best friend? The Disney star Demi Lovato has a HOT new music video which promotes her latest single "Remember December" and is confirmed to be premiered today on TwitVid and Disney Channel. Lovato has posted the three "Remember December" sneak peaks to her Twitter so far. The snippet mainly takes its focus on the star of "Camp Rock" sequel when she is rocking with her band.
The electro-pop-rocker "Remember December" is the second official single off her hugely successful sophomore studio album "Here We Go Again" and will be released on November 17. The song is sonically a bit different for Lovato. The bigger, bolder sound has the potential to take her from the teeny-bopper playground and into the big leagues.
The 17-year-old pop rock singer shot the video in Los Angeles on Monday night (October 26), a few days before Halloween and recruited "Camp Rock 2" costar pals Meaghan Jette Martin, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle and Chloe Bridges to channel the 80s style for the video. The glam video shows the 17 year old Disney star dressed in a leather number with studded gloves...a true rocker!
The Disney singer/actress isn't afraid to get a little angsty about love on her new single, said the track is meant for all her girls out there who need to remind guys that they messed up. "The music video relates to the song in a way that a girl has so much to say to the guy, and it feels like he's not listening, and she wants him to remember everything that they had," she told MTV News. "And so instead of having a love interest in this video, it's all about being fierce and kind of, like, taking control as a girl. It's like girl empowerment. Yeah, divas!" Lovato said the song is near and dear to her but wouldn't say just who the unlucky guy is at the center of the song. "I love this song for many reasons," she said. "It had a different sound than a lot of my songs. I related to it personally more than other songs, and I have so much fun with it. I thought if it could be a single that it would be incredible to perform it all the time."

Demetria "Demi" Lovato was born born August 20, 1992 in Texas. "Don't Forget" is the 3rd and final single released from her debut studio album of the same name. The moderate pop-rock song is Demi's best-performing song so far from album, and it's currently her highest performance on the chart to date.

The official music video (directed by Robert Hales) was shot in Griffith Park in LA. The video begins in a tour bus where Demi's band can be seen. She is then shown sitting next to a window, and precedes to sing the first few lines. As the song progresses, she walks in the rain holding an umbrella, where she continues to sing. Demi is then shown in front of a carousel, still holding her umbrella. When the song reaches the bridge, Demi and her band perform in the rain with the water changing colors in the background. As the last verse approaches she is shown back on the tour bus where the video began. When the song finishes a single tear rolls down her cheek.
