Tim McGraw finally revealed his saddest video ever for his latest colossal country superstar collaboration single, "Highway Don't Care," a duet with his labelmate Taylor Swift and featuring Keith Urban on guitar, is the third single from the 46-year-old Country crooner and actor's new album, "Two Lanes of Freedom," which impacted on February 5th, serves as the singer's highly-anticipated debut Big Machine Records release. The track is arguably one of the best collaborations of the decade, maybe even ever.
"Highway Don't Care," a cautionary tale about the dangers of texting and driving, was co-penned by country music's loved one-time-duo, The Warren Brothers who explains: "The cool thing about that song is that the part we wrote for the girl, she is just the voice on the radio." It's about the person you're singing about in the song or singing to in the song is driving down the road. The tune is a mid-tempo ballad where the male narrator is driving his car, and is separated from his lover who is also driving. Lyrically, the song is a take on freedom tinged with regret. Throughout the verses, he tells her what he "bets" she is feeling, when a song comes on the radio.
A new emotional climax is a roller coaster of emotions that reached each time the arrangement slows down for Swift to deliver the almost haunting "I can't live without you, baby." From there Urban introduces the chorus by way of a few passionate pulls at his guitar strings. Suddenly, the air guitar is cool again. Urban's solo at the bridge and slowly and satisfyingly brings us back down to Earth with the relatively gentle sounds of McGraw and Swift's harmonies. These two are a wonderful vocal match. There's no sense of one being underutilized to benefit the other, or one being no match for the other's talents. It's her song as much as it is his, with Urban playing more than a complementary roll.
This such a hauntingly brilliant song accompanied by an absolutely soul-crushing video, directed by Shane Drake, and it features a series of dramatic footage and marks yet another addition to the Car Crash Video genre. It begins with McGraw singing in the middle of a lonely road outside of Nashville on a cold, foggy morning by a river, telling the story of a young girl who jumps into her car all upset, not paying attention to the road while she's driving. She can see Swift singing the chorus in her rear view mirror as she drives. The gut-wrenching sob story about an ill-fated lovers contains Public Service Announcement-esque levels of melodrama, but it is pretty effective! Watch it and remember how precious life is.

The 44-year-old may be keeping quite after his recent surgery, but his new video is flying high! The country superstar just continues to put out catchy, well-written pop-country songs that spread like cooties, add "You Gonna Fly" to the contagion list.

Keith Urban has released the new summer anthem video for his current single "Long Hot Summer," the third single Urban has offered up from his 2010 album "Get Closer," following "Put You In A Song" and "Without You." Before we say goodbye to summer, the country music crooner celebrates all the hallmarks of a good summer: surf, sand, sea, sun and the open road, and is giving us one last longing look at what we'll miss for the next several months.
Urban penned this summer tune with pop star Richard Marx, who recorded a succession of hits in the late '80s and early '90s including "Right Here Waiting" and "Hazard." Urban told The Boot that the track was a feel-good song meant to be listened to on the road: "I like to have at least one good summer song on a record. The romantic new song that Urban called "the most autobiographical song I never wrote," is the second single taken from his pseudo EP "Get Closer," gives a glimpse into fine-tuned domestic bliss. Urban tells PEOPLE that when he first heard the tune, "it was uncanny how much it was suited to my life. "So we projected the imagery onto Keith and into the room so it could exist within the song. It was like we had movies playing, and Keith was our movie screen." Urban and Hicky collaborated side by side on this, their 10th video together. "We wanted to keep the video simple by trying not to be too literal with the story and making sure we compliment the song," he said. "We had a good time making it so hopefully the fans love it, too. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone out on the road soon."

Keith Urban Debuts "'Til Summer Comes Around"

Australian country music artist Keith Urban has unveiled his newest music video this week for his latest hit "'Til Summer Comes Around." The track is the fourth single to be released from his fifth studio album, "Defying Gravity," which was released last March.
Urban co-wrote the song with frequent songwriting partner, Monty Powell who told TheBoot.com: "When Keith started playing the guitar riff that opens up the song, we felt it conjured up the ocean in winter... when it's cold and slate gray. Urban has finally gone for something a little more substantial. In this song, the narrator is deeply let down by the end of summer, yearning for the girl that he met at the carnival. In the meantime, he waits for her to come back again. The chorus provides interesting little details. The production and melody are appropriately somber, relying mostly on Urban's soft slide guitar licks and some soft organ fills. Urban steps up his game vocally, convincingly playing the role of one very heartbroken man. The song was reached No.1 on Billboard's Bubbling Under Hot 100 and peaked at No. 14 on the Hot Country Songs chart.
This music video was filmed over two days in Los Angeles last November, capturing the Santa Monica Piers, exposing the summer warmth of the meadow with a theme park featured in the distance. It revolves around a brief fling between a couple enjoying each other's company in the open place. "I had this idea about a theme park," Urban said when explaining about inspiration behind the song. "For me, there's something fascinating and deeply sad about theme parks in the wintertime when they're shut down. It is accompanied mostly by electric guitar and organ. Urban's original idea was to write a song about longing telling the story of a guy who meets a girl at an amusement park. He falls in love with her and longs to see the girl again. She says she will be back, and every year he is still there waiting. I think this is Urban's best video ever. It so haunting, nocturnal, and dreamily textured. I have always felt sad at the sight of a carnival or boardwalk in the off season and he catches this emotion perfectly and sings it with so much passion!
Urban and his superstar actress wife, Nicole Kidman, enjoyed a nice, long Christmas and New Year's holiday in their luxurious, 21st-floor, $6 million penthouse apartment in Sydney.
