Madonna sizzling live performance of "Vogue"

Madonna has released a sizzling live performance of "Vogue" from her recent 'MDNA World Tour,' and to get us whipped into a frenzy, the Material Matriarch let slip this performance of "Vogue" from the show. The footage was unveiled ahead of her 'MDNA Tour' DVD, which is out tomorrow, September 10th. The show was originally aired on US network EPIX in June this year. While album sales were tepid, MDNA was the most successful tour of 2012 and helped make the 55-year-old 'Like a Virgin' hitmaker the highest-paid celebrity of the year.
"Vogue," the lead single from Madonna's Dick Tracy-inspired 1990 soundtrack album, "I'm Breathless," was arguably one of her crowning artistic achievements (both song-wise and video-wise), one of the biggest all-time house music hits (spending three weeks atop the U.S. pop charts), and her second proper U.S. maxi-single release. It became the world's best-selling single of 1990, selling over six million copies. The Queen of Pop was inspired by vogue dancers and choreographers Jose and Luis Xtravaganza from the Harlem "House Ball" community, the origin of the dance Vogue, and they introduced "Vogueing" to her at the New York City club "Sound Factory."
"Vogue" is an upbeat dance-pop and house song. Noted to contain influences of deep house, it is a contemporary track which followed the trends of dance music in the 1990s; nevertheless, it has strong influences of 70s disco within its composition. Lyrically, the song is about enjoying oneself on the dance floor no matter who one is, and it contains a theme of escapism. Later on, the song has a rap/spoken section, in which Madonna names numerous "golden era" Hollywood celebrities. This new video, the first glimpse is all the proof you'll ever need that Her Madgesty's still reigns supreme!
The brand new remix video for Madonna's "Vogue" featuring incredible outtakes and sequences that have remained hidden from the public for the last 21 years. The original clip, which was directed by longtime Madonna collaborator David Fincher before he went on to make Hollywood blockbusters, was released in 1990 in support of the singer's "I'm Breathless" album. The new video, set to what is called the "World of Color" remix and features outtakes and extra footage not shown in the original including a playful Madonna wore a reinvented cone bra designed by Jean-Paul Gaultier, chewing on her hair piece, getting her makeup touched up, and breaking into fits of laughter in between takes. Madonna is still in vogue!

Madonna Takes A Joyride In "Turn Up The Radio"

Madonna's "MDNA" may have a track called "Girl Gone Wild," but the just-released new video for her third single, "Turn Up The Radio," is downright mild. It offers a fun road trip through Florence and, eventually, the Tuscan countryside, and features Madonna doing what the Queen of Pop does best to turn Italian streets into a dance floor. The sun-soaked pop jam that is more than ready for dance floors.
"Turn Up the Radio," is a summery pop number that's as effortless as it is simple. The anthemic dance-pop wonder with glittery synths and fun lyrics begins with a keyboard start before turning into and '80s-inspired dance-pop number. Lyrically, she pleads with the listener to stop for a moment, to get away from the world through music. It's the album's obvious big radio hit, its airwaves-optimism and carefree abandon writ all over it. It also talks about the need for one and all to chill out and have some fun.
It may sound trite but there's urgency in its simplicity. It transforms into the album's most pounding moment, reaching a climax that threatens to blow the speakers. Some might find it unusually generic, but she makes it her own and fans will be happy to have a dancefloor filler that will shake the clubs and would happily find a slot on the next series of Glee. Once again, the Peter Pan pop star refuses to act her age, only this time she has us more than a little envious of all the fun she's having, and showed us that her favorite time to turn up the radio.
Shot by fashion photographer Tom Munro on the crowded streets of Italy where life imitates art, the retro-feeling clip follows the overwhelmed Madonna makes her way out of her hotel and trying to escape the paparazzi, who instead gets swept up in a song on the radio while taking a joyride in her chauffeur driven convertible Cadillac, greet her devotees on the streets of the famed Italian city, and throws an impromptu party in the backseat. It's a super stylish short that's up there with Madonna's best.

Madonna Gets Fired Up In "Girl Gone Wild"

After bestowing "Give Me All Your Luvin'" with a Super Bowl-sized debut, Madonna has unveiled a brand-new stylish video for her dance number "Girl Gone Wild," the candy-coated second single from her forthcoming twelfth studio album, "MDNA," album that fits right in with the current crop of contemporary dance-pop music, out next Monday. Exclusively obtained by E! News, Madonna's latest production features the Material Girl showing all the guys and girls how it's done.
The mid-tempo funky party dance track is undeniably dance, but with stronger electro-pop than house markings, with a driving beat and propulsive hook that recalls her 2005 single "Hung Up." Lyrically, the song addresses to a "good girl gone wild" singing about her "burning hot desire" to have some fun. In "Girl Gone Wild," which opens the album, harsh and sintetic sounds and distorted rhythms are put together with a central part which is more dreamy and easier to listen to, more pop/disco.
Madonna is trying too hard to cling to her youth on "Girl Gone Wild," and doing what she does best for turning up the heat on the dance floor, and it's the sound of a woman who hits the dancefloor for restoration more than craziness. Given its similarities to what's currently being played on the radio, "Girl Gone Wild" is a safe choice as a single, its title notwithstanding. This is definitely not the boundary-pushing Madonna we came to love in the '80s and '90s. At the same time, Madonna makes it clear that she's at a point where she just wants to have a little fun.
The greyscale clip, directed by fashion photographers Mert & Marcus, is a fast-paced throwback to the legendary pop diva's earlier glory, and see's the 53-year-old singer pays homage to her '90s style headline-making endeavors, including "Vogue," "Erotica" and "Human Nature," with a modern twist, and a hot, shiny black skintight number, sexing it up in chains, smoking a cigarette and cavorting with her scantily dressed male dancers. The tightly shot clip also includes women in full leather and bondage equipment. Steamy!

Madonna Debuts "Give Me All Your Luvin'" Video

VideoAre you ready for Super Bowl, the most-watched TV event of the year today? Madonna isn't going to let her halftime show be the only moment for her to get some Super Bowl-related attention with a new music video for her new single "Give Me All Your Luvin'," the lead singer appears on the Queen of pop's upcoming album, "MDNA," the title being the consonants in Madonna's name. The song features guest vocals from Madonna's fellow New Yorker, the rapper Nicki Minaj, and English singer M.I.A.
The effervescent, dance-and-clap-inducing track is an '80s-inspired electro-thumper complete with a cheerleader chant of 'L-U-V Madonna!' It's peppy, catchy, somewhat infectious and utterly boring to the point of tears. Lyrically the song finds Madonna warning a potential lover that he needs to be straight with her as she's "a different kind of girl" who won't be mucked around. In keeping with the current Marilyn Monroe vogue, the three pop stars also don blonde wigs during the electro dance-pop song's hip-hop breakdown section, all three singers fit the bill as strong women who know what they want.
Minaj certainly does her best, her typically frantic rap an exercise in squeezing as many words into a 10-second space as possible, while M.I.A.'s more laconic drawl loses momentum. Madonna has stated she wanted to work with M.I.A. and Minaj on the track as they were both strong, independent girls with a unique voice, and that she liked their music and what they represented. The "Material Girl" songstress paid tribute to the stars, saying "They're not conventional pop stars and I really admire them both. I love both of them actually."
Directed by MegaForce, the video has football and cheerleader theme, inspired by her upcoming halftime performance at Super Bowl XLVI. In this goofy and fun clip, the 53-year-old pop legend tosses aside the accouterments of motherhood and morphs into the late-1980s/early-1990s version of herself, with white lingerie and short blonde hair. The rest of the video is lighter in tone and slightly more whimsical than is usual for Madonna, with Minaj and M.I.A. cheering her on with cheerleader pompoms.
