Jennifer Lopez unveiled her super sizzling black and white "First Love" visual and raised temperatures wherever there is an internet connection with her raunchy desert antics. The catchy newest single, taken from Lopez's upcoming eighth studio album "A.K.A," due in stores on June 17th via Capitol Records, was first performed earlier this month at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards where the singer picked up the show's Icon Award. "Music has always been my first love," Lopez said in her acceptance speech.
"First Love" is an uptempo pop song that mixes an electropop beat with hard-hitting percussion and big drums. It's an adorable pure-pop explosion that expertly straddles the divide between Lopez's urban roots and much-loved dance moments. This upbeat, bass-heavy cut finds Lopez paying tribute to her beau: "I wish you were my first love/ 'Cause if you were first, baby/ There wouldn't have been no second, third or fourth love." The saucy clip, directed by Jessy Terrero and shot in Miami, is the first music video off Lopez's eighth studio album, turns the tables on pop music, rap video stereotypes and objectifies men for a change. It also features throwbacks to Lopez's most famous looks of all time, including her "On the 6" album artwork, her "I'm Real" music video and the infamous Versace cleavage-and-more-baring dress she wore to the Grammys in 2000.
Produced by Noel "Detail" Fisher, this upbeat, summery "I Luh Ya Papi" finds Lopez expressing her "luh" for her beau, and she enlisted fellow Bronx native Montana, who jumps in at the end reciprocating the feelings for his true love. Released as the lead single from the singer's upcoming eighth album, the sunny and infectious tune got its first play during Lopez's trip to Power 106's New at 2 show with Yesi Ortiz on March 5, and has also spawned a remix from Big Sean. Sick of all the under-dressed ladies that rappers like to have decorating their sets like sexy lawn ornaments? In 2002, Lopez reminded she was still 'Jenny From the Block' despite having chart-topping success and fame. That still applies over a decade later. She returns to her hometown of the Bronx, New York for her new video "Same Girl," and where she aims to prove she hasn't changed.
The songstress is not only back on American Idol, but back with new music as well! Co-written by Lopez in collaboration with Chris Brown and produced by Amadeus and Cory Rooney, the 44-year-old entertainer shared about new song: "This was just something I was doing for the fans. "I had this idea like, oh, when I do the video for [Same Girl], if I ever do a video for this, I'm gonna go back to my old neighborhood in the Bronx," Lopez said on The Tonight Show. "I'm gonna go back to Castle Hill, I'm gonna get on the train from Manhattan, I'm just gonna film the hole thing. So we did!"

Lyrically, "Live It Up" features 43-year-old pop songstress singing inspirational lyrics about living it up over an uptempo dance-pop and Europop electro beat. The high-energy track utilizes a drum-patterned fist-pumping electro beat, as well as heavy synths. The typical Euro-pop jam contains the sonic disruptions of dubstep in the breakdown. Pitbull's lyrics have a recurring theme of feminism. It becomes something we never dreamed possible: a colorful and completely bonkers number!

Jennifer Lopez blows a gust of air to "Goin' In"

Just turned 43, and left 'American Idol,' Jennifer Lopez has once again delivered a brand-new video for her ultimate global dance single, "Goin' In" during "MTV First: Jennifer Lopez" on Wednesday night. Featuring American rapper Flo Rida, the pop jam appears on both Lopez's first greatest hits album, "Dance Again ... The Hits," which dropped this week, as well as the soundtrack to "Step Up Revolution," which hits theaters Friday.
"Goin' In" features an energetic and entrancing beat which speaks of the freedom found in dance, and is built into Rida's hyper-speed rhyme from Lopez's propulsive verse. After proclaiming "They're not stopping us tonight," Lopez switches between a shimmering crescendo to the song's stadium-size chorus. It's a vibrant and vivid banger of epic proportions, picking up where Lopez left on "Love," and catapulting everything into a whole new stratosphere altogether. "Goin' In" is the hardest club track we've heard from the multi-hyphenate superstar in recent years.
The video was filmed in June, and directed by Ace Norton. Rida said about the video: "They had me performing around this Lamborghini, it was really different 'cause there was one scene where I got on this treadmill and they had me running while performing my verse. I had a chance to look back at the video and it seemed like over the top." Lopez isn't the only star of the brightly colored clip. The footage from "Step Up Revolution" has also been incorporated, showing dancers on the streets.
The steamy clip opens with Lopez blowing a dandelion with her amethyst-covered lips, rocking a purple cloak and matching shades as she readies a high energy dance sequence alone in a room filled in front of a bank of neon lights while both a grenade and a pair of fire hydrants explode with paint. As the spores begin to take flight, they turn into glittery specs floating into space. It's the first of many moments that focus on what looks cool, instead of telling a cohesive story. Adding her sweet spice to the latest single "Follow the Leader," contains South American rhythms. Wisin sings in the style of Wisin & Yandel in that of Wisin, referring to the more powerful tone of the former and the lighter vocal touch of the latter.
The 42-year-old "American Idol" judge shows off some fake ink, hip shakes as a woman running away from several men who are chasing her, and the trio's mission with this video is to break the 24-hour Vevo view record! It is a truly magnificent piece of work. The movements are exciting, yet dangerous for the unskilled. Meanwhile, Wisin & Yandel are both looking handsome as well as they text on their Blackberry mobile phones to make plans for the day.
The "Waiting for Tonight" songstress wakes up in a luxury suite with a primo view of the Acapulco shoreline, the video begins with the view from a helicopter flying into Acapulco, Mexico. The scene is magnificent, showing greenish-blue ocean as it meets the beach where holiday-makers are soaking up the sun. Further on, the chopper flies over some of the luxurious mansions built on the seafront. And then a mobile phone awakens "someone" with the message, "Wanna play?" to which she replies, "Follow the leader."
The song begins with a Lopez introduction, soon showing a different shot of her with a huge tattoo of "Lideres" (Spanish for Leaders) emblazoned across her upper torso and what appears to be a dragon covering her back. Wisin & Yandel join in the chorus. After a short introduction, they dress for action. The trio sing the track, and then the chase is on as they race through and across the city: vaulting, rolling, and tumbling. Like seasoned experts, they fall, they roll, yet without a scratch or bruise, they leap up for the next exciting challenge.

Jennifer Lopez Wants To "Dance Again"

It was an incredible evening for fans of Jennifer Lopez as the judge premiered the full-length music video for her newest catchy number "Dance Again" during Thursday's American Idol. The track was produced by Moroccan-born mega producer RedOne and Cuban rapper Pitbull, and J.Lo has stated that she doesn't know if "Dance Again" would be the lead single from her upcoming greatest hits album or her eighth studio album.
"Dance Again" is an uptempo dance-pop song, which kicks off the electro beat with Pitbull's brief rap introduction. The beat then shifts from upbeat pings and claps to a bass backdrop as Lopez takes over the vocals. The quick pace electro beat returns, revving up energy, and Lopez sings the bridge with heartbreaking emotion. Lopez once again sings over a buttery disco groove and the chorus is as pure a piece of effervescent pop as Lopez has ever been a part of, and while it probably isn't the sort of thing meant to be listened to on headphones in a cubicle, it should play pretty well in places where grinding is encouraged.
During an interview with Ryan Seacrest, speaking on the concept behind the song, the 42-year-old said "I love being able to collaborate with the producer RedOne again, and working with Pitbull again. We had a great chemistry the last time, and it was like 'We're going to have to do something again.' And this was the perfect song. I love the message of the song. That when something bad happens, your life is not over. You have to get up. You're gonna live. You're gonna to be okay. You're gonna dance again."
The accompanying promo was directed by long-time collaborator Paul Hunter and it opens with a message card: "Always remember: You will live, you will love, you will dance again." With a cameo from a tuxedo-clad Pitbull, and appearances from lots of other attractive dancers, this video focuses on the real-life scantily clad couple: the tricky effects and glittery body painted Lopez and her 24-year-old real-life dancer beau Casper Smart, dancing and grinding synchronized side by side along with the sort of moves you would expect to accompany these lyrics. The clip finds 42-year-old American Idol judge in the middle of love-struck street riot, where men throwing themselves at her, causing all kinds of chaos around her, but all she wants is her "Papi." How else to explain why People's Most Beautiful Person doesn't notice something funny is going on until she's half way through her humorous video.
Lopez was nice enough to remind the world of her impeccable acting skills by creating a short film to help promote her dance track "Papi," the third official single taken from her seventh studio album, "Love?" is a Latin and electro music-flavored, up-tempo dance-pop song, and the melody is driven by "beating" drums and "pounding" synths. The lyrics center around the pop star's love for dancing for her man. Lopez is at her finest and her voice pulsates with a fresh, fiery, and focused energy.
The music video was directed by Paul Hunter and shot on New York City last month. The story begins as our forlorn singer greeting her mail attendant Lisa, confessing that her Army lover has not returned back to her. Lisa offers the singer a magic heart-shaped cookie that she claims will make "your love come back." Unfortunately, Lopez takes a chunk out of the enchanted cookie instead of a "small bite," marking the beginning of the captivating spell she unwittingly casts on every man she passes by. There's no stopping Jennifer Lopez these days. The day before dropping her new album, "Love?" on Monday, the comeback kid took to NBC's "Today" show to premiere the video for her Lil Wayne-assisted single "I'm Into You." According to the 41-year-old entertainer and American Idol judge, her favorite male rapper is Lil Wayne, who crops on this track contributing his clever wordplay. She added, "He's just not the normal type of artist. He's just kind of eccentric."
The mid-tempo, island-flavored jam, is the second single from her upcoming seventh studio album, "Love?" which is out today. In the song, Latino pop star sings about being lost in love and her lover's attraction, while Wayne teases with clever wordplay. The club-ready refrain challenges the listener to not sing along. This song is bound for greatness. It's built around a trippy and synth-heavy beat and beachy feel with a club-ready refrain. Although the beat is sparse and the lyrics are borderline simplistic, the melodies and Lopez's warm vocals give this uplifting piece of pop an extra boost.
Head south of the border with the Latina bombshell in the breathtaking visuals. Lopez is featured writing in the water on a sandy beach in Mexico and delightfully descending the steps of Chichen Itza in the Yucatan. The Melina Matsoukas-directed video was shot at different locations around a Mayan archaeological site in Mexico. It was based on an old Mayan tale about a snake slithering around the pyramids, so Lopez donned a snake skin flowing dress and slithered around the ruins.
The video is showing the singer on the beach, roll around white sand with her on-screen Latin beau, telenovela star William Levy and rock a short dance number. In one scene, Lopez is sat on the steps of a Mayan pyramid, dressed in a snakeskin outfit with a headwrap, matching bangles, and platform wedge heels. The landscapes, Lopez and her man are all visually stunning, but doesn't see the rap mogul making appearance. Instead, it features Lopez breaking into an unexpected dance routine to her song "Papi."

Jennifer Lopez Debuts "On the Floor" ft. Pitbull

Jennifer Lopez returned to the top of the charts with her recent club jam "On The Floor" and synced with its video premiered jointly on season ten of American Idol last night. The sweat-inducing, sticky dance floor track is the lead single taken from her seventh studio album, "Love?" due out on April 19. The immediate success of "On the Floor," perhaps partially propelled by her American Idol status marks a comeback of sorts for Lopez, who suffered two commercial failures with her previous two albums, following a string of unstoppable successes during the early 2000's.
Produced by Lady Gaga's longtime collaborator RedOne, the up-tempo dance-pop song features vocals from Cuban-America rapper Pitbull on the tune, which incorporates a sample of the 1989 hit single "Lambada" by Kaoma. The rapper revealed to MTV News that he has a certain system when it comes to appearing on this type of dance track. "When you got these big, big house records or club records that are very global, I try to come in on what I was raised on, what I'm a fan of, which is just spitting hard," he explained.
The 41-year-old Idol judge said she was looking to evolve her urban/pop sound with this tune. "It feels like me today, which I like. It's not something that you hear and you're like, 'That's not her,' but you also go, 'Is that her? I like that. It's new,' and that's what I wanted. I wanted it to be very me, but I wanted it to be me not from my first album or my second album, but for today." Lopez first rose to fame as a dancer and she told MTV News the song conjures up nostalgic feelings for her. "The minute RedOne played it for me, I made him play it 20 times in a row, and I just sat there at the board and I kept listening to it and listening to it," she explained. "Because I really feel like, emotionally, I connected to it, but also because of how much I love to dance and how much that's always been such a big part of who I am since I started. Since I was a little girl, I just totally connected with the idea of getting out there."
The video scenes depict an underground club culture and tie-in with the lyrics of the song, was directed by TAJ Stansberry, who told MTV News, the video is all about originality. "Originality, being you. This song is about being who you want. It's about letting loose. There's no explanation. This is this underground video, this underground party." During the video shoot, Lopez told MTV News that the video mirrors the song's theme. She said "I play one character where she kind of runs this party, acts like she's kind of over it, but at the same time loves it and loves this kind of underground kind of party dance culture. So I got to be wild and crazy, and at the same time I got to be sexy and sweet too." Lopez has since dusted off and, indeed, appears to have put all that behind her, so to speak. These days, she's crushing it.
