"Dirty Laundry" is a R&B ballad, built around R&B jam spools and a piano-led melody. It details a frank and often poignant commentary on the Rowland's life, particularly focusing on her time following the release of her debut album, "Simply Deep," in 2002. The phrase 'dirty laundry' is used to describe someone's secrets that they don't want anyone to find out about. The track was penned by The-Dream, who compiled the lyrics from different personal stories that Rowland shared, is constructed in chapters, each detailing a different part of Rowland's life.
After tossing Beyoncé into her dirty laundry, the songstress then proceeds to detail a relationship with a verbally and physically abusive boyfriend. who drove a wedge between her and Beyoncé. The track is raw and pulls heavily at the heartstrings and the chorus illustrates that she has been long longing to 'air her dirty laundry' for a while. Rowland's voice drips with a hard-earned wisdom, the kind that only crystallizes after processing dark things and coming out the other side bearing the scars of experience."
The Sarah McColgan-directed dark video is the perfect, tear-soaked catharsis that the song itself deserves. It shows off Rowland in a vulnerable state, as she dines with her abusive (ex) boyfriend before singing in a chair and lying in the fetal position in a pool of water, while the 32-year-old R&B singer began crying and confessing the lyrics of the song. The clip ends with what could be a hopeful moment: Rowland staring into a mirror, facing her own reflection and processing the pain. A pretty simple, yet powerful visual.

"I wanted to just touch a woman's hand, talk to her, you know what I mean?" Rowland explained. "Like, this is my sister and I think that's one of the things that I wanted to really pronounce on this album, is a celebration of a woman." The smoldering and sensual Mike WiLL Made It produced sexy ballad details a woman in control. "I like my kisses down low, makes me arch my back, nothing can compare, to when you kiss me there," sings Rowland on the sultry slow jam, "When you give it to me slow, baby just like that." She told Big Tigger: "I think it's important for a lady to express that that's the way it should be handled some times."
When speaking of the Collin Tilley-directed visual for "Kisses Down Low," Rowland said; "I’m so excited about this video. The theme is fun and flirty and pin-up. The makeup is popping, the hair is popping, the styling is so cool, but it feels just really flirty. I wanted to bring that out of the song instead of making it as racy." Hot outfits, playful curls, and her diamond-encrusted lips mouth sultry come-ons. "It's a very, very sexy video,” said director Rolston.

Kelly Rowland has been busy recording her upcoming fourth studio album but she has given her fans a special treat to calm their nerves. The R&B songstress knows how to enjoy the shiny sky and takes in the summer vibes with her new feel-good video for the hit song "Summer Dreaming," in honor of Bacardi Rum's 150th anniversary, the R&B diva has teamed up with the liquor brand company for a remake of Kate Yanai's '90s hit song, which was topped the German music charts over a decade ago.
Gave a modern twist with fresh dance beats, the remixed jam itself will be officially released on July 8th when Rowland performs it in Berlin. "The song and its history enthralled me right away," says the 31-year-old after she first heard the song at a Bacardi anniversary party in January. "My aim was to record a joyful, colorful, sexy song and give it a bit of soul quality. The collaboration with Bacardi was so much fun. We had an awesome time recording the song."
As a official soundtrack, "Summer Dreaming" to be used on the new Bacardi commercials in Europe this summer! Kelly Rowland retreated to Paris to shoot the brand new video for her soft and wistful ballad "Keep It Between Us," the sultry cut off the 30-year-old R&B songstress's latest third solo album, "Here I Am." The steamy romantic video features she flirted with actor, Lance Gross, as her love interest, and finds her exploring Paris and examining photos of an absent lover before reaching a happy ending.
The promo was filmed in Paris last November, and it opens with shots of busy streets and the Eiffel Tower, establishing the setting as the romantic city of Paris. Rowland sits on her bed, flipping through photographs of her and her on-screen beau are seen growing apart. The scene is cut with flashbacks of the fashionable couple walking around, snuggling, stopping for coffee and strolled arm in arm through the ever-beautiful city of Paris. She, however, is able to regain her smile as she recalls how they once enjoyed being in each other's arms while exploring Paris.
When her relationship with her lover is strained, the former member of Destiny's Child reminiscents the good time they once had in Paris. Based on the fact that Rowland obsesses over old photographs, the "Keep It Between Us" video could be a tale about lost love, but it's more likely a story about an ongoing relationship, since the song is about being faithful to a special someone.
The clip also includes shots of the 'X Factor' judge strutted in a black coat, a tight, cutoff sweater and Alexander McQueen hiker boots standing on a hotel balcony with the city behind her - a beautiful visual in more ways than one. Rowland softens up her motivation for some intimate moment with charming Gross. The pair brings a classic lover's quarrel and a love lost to light. But between flashbacks, Rowland vows to never "give my love away." As every fairy tale ends, they eventually find their way back to each other.

Quick on the heels, after body surfing over a sea of shirtless, oiled-up men in her steamy "Lay It on Me" video, which dropped just a little over a week ago, Kelly Rowland is at it again with more racy visuals. This time she's premiering a clip for her Euro-dance, "Down for Whatever." It is tenth and the closing song on Rowland's latest third solo album, "Here I Am." The concept for both videos is similar, and Rowland strips to various skimpy outfits like what she did in the "Lay It on Me" clip.
"Here I Am" is predominately a R&B and pop music album with subtle influences of dance music. It follows Rowland's assertion that "no one puts her in a box" and common themes include lyrics about womanhood and sexual intimacy. It doesn't stray far from the scantily clad dance themes of its predecessor, the 30-year-old former Destiny's Child singer is a true ride-or-die chick in the RedOne co-produced track, rocking a blunt bob while in the nude with some strategically placed spotlights to leave just enough to the imagination.
Rowland got a little more creative with her wardrobe and decided that perhaps beams of light and a hot set of pumps would be more much more figure-flattering. The sexalicious clip for "Down For Whatever" takes place in a small, boxy room with a lots of flashes of colored light and frenetic imagery. Rowland teases the camera with her sexy dancing while bathed in blue light, all the while singing her song about being the cool, chill girl who is, well, down for whatever comes her way.
The music videos have fleeting lifespans these days. The Sarah Chatfield-directed "Down For Whatever" looks like one extended fashion show to us. When the black light goes on, it turns into a particularly sexed up scene, too. It's animalistic yet it never devolves into trashy, which is always a distinct possibility with pop stars when they gyrate in a music video. Overall, it's very tribal and primal, since Rowland throws off that type of electric sexual energy. This video is dense with colors, feeling and eroticism.

Kelly Rowland Gives Lil Wayne "Motivation"

Former Destiny's Child songstress Kelly Rowland has branched out and tried different sounds and beats for her solo career. If you thought Rowland's career was relegated to waiting by the phone, waiting for Beyonce's call to get Destiny's Child back together, "Motivation" offers evidence of the contrary. On Monday, she debuted the video to the Jim Jonsin/Rico Love-produced new sensual urban tune, which features Lil Wayne, and the damp, sweaty video matches the song's intense sexuality.
"Motivation" is a sophisticated ambrosial crafted mix of dance and mash-up which is the lead single for Rowland's upcoming third untitled solo studio album. The song finds Rowland promising to be her lover's motivation before her label mate Wayne steps in with a romantic verse offering kitchen and car metaphors. "[This song] makes me feel extremely, uber-duber sexy," she said. "It has that personality and characteristic to it that I don't think anybody can deny. That's why when Wayne dropped that insane verse on there ... I was like, 'You really brought that up even more.' He went into the studio and just did it. I don't think it takes much for Wayne to think. He just does it. He's so admirable."
The sultry video is hot, sexy, dark and sensual. It showing off Rowland's seductive side. The former Destiny's Child star heats up an underground warehouse with her steamy and sexy dancing, while her collaborator Wayne throws his verses in a dark passage. The Jim Jonsin-produced and Rico Love-penned R&B-ballad mid-tempo serves as the official third single from the St Louis rapper's sixth studio album "5.0." Reunited artists frolic on a beach in flirty new clip and both their talents are definitely exhibited in this 2011 version.
Another "stellar duet" from Rowland and Nelly, the lovey-dovey tune "Gone" is the sequel to Nelly's 2002 worldwide No.1 single "Dilemma," also with Rowland. The predominately R&B-ballad contains elements of pop music. Like on "Dilemma," Nelly and Rowland address one another by name as they sing about having the hots for each other over a relaxed R&B melody. This new slow groove is harmless enough, and even boasts a similar beat to its predecessor. It's a rather familiar mid-tempo urban pop ballad – albeit this time about re-kindling lost love.
"Gone" extends the story of the duo's earlier single "Dilemma". Nelly told MTV that "Gone" was not just a sequel. He said "I don't want to say it's a sequel. I don't want to diminish anything with 'Dilemma' or have an expectation you can't live up to when you do that. When you do that type of thing, there's people who are already, 'I don't wanna hear it... It's one of those things where we did reconnect. Our chemistry has already proven to be good, whether it was onstage or in the studio. It was something that we wanted to reconnect with... It's a cool joint. I think people will get it."
That theme is reflected in the video, which was directed by Marc Klasfeld and filmed in early February in Mexico on a sandy beach. The synopsis of the video shows Nelly and Rowland both vacationing on an island resort and cozying up on the beach and getting intimate poolside in the steamy scenes. As video plays along, Nelly spots Rowland lounging out in the sun and is stopped in his tracks, lowering his sunglasses. Throughout the video, they take turns courting each other, but also pining for the other. But will the older and wiser Nelly and Rowland turn their flirtations into a lasting relationship, or will they fizzle after a fling? Kelly Rowland Enjoys "Forever And A Day"

Only a couple days after releasing her 3-D video for "Rose Colored Glasses," Kelly Rowland closes out summer and serving you California chocolate drop in the summer with the hot new video for her new up-tempo dance record "Forever and a Day," the second UK single and latest track to get the visual treatment from her third solo album, which hits stores in early 2011.
"Forever And A Day" becomes the follow-up to chart smash "Commander." It was produced by Jonas, co-produced by David Guetta and written by Sam Watters and Andre Merritt. Rowland soars vocally as it slowly builds into an explosive dance floor friendly number. If you thought she couldn't produce a dance record to touch "When Love Takes Over" or "Commander," this proves you wrong. It's not as epic a single as the former, however Rowland's vocals are incredible and I enjoy them set against the vibrant dance synths that are Guetta's staple. She has a great shot of reaching the upper ends of the charts with "Forever And A Day."
The video for the melodic dance/house number isn't anything too exciting, and basically just follows Rowland around as she hangs out with her girlfriends on a Summer's day, but it fits the feel-good nature of the song perfectly. It was directed by British pop-culture Sarah Chatfield and shows the former Destiny's Child member having a great summer day and having fun with her girlfriends, hanging out the roof of a convertible, getting her skates on, and enjoying a lively night time party around Los Angeles in a convertible, and getting down to the carefree jam. The iPad Touch scene to scene transitioning made the video look tacky as hell. Watch below and soak up the final rays of the season.
The 29-year-old former member of Destiny's Child has never looked or sounded better. She seems to have hit her stride with more uptempo songs, after working with Guetta on "When Love Takes Over" and "Commander." She totally rips it wide open on the chorus with her shrieking-but-not-shrill "Forever And A Day" once again! The Kelly Rowland marketing engine is hard at work to make her new album pop off. She will release two versions of the album. The US variant will feature more urban and R&B influences in the vein of "Grown Ass Woman" while the European release will focus on her successful dance pop sound. Rowland's vocals and affiliation with the Queen of Creole will surely keep her refrigerator full.

The ex-Destiny's Child singer gets angry in the video for her new break-up anthem "Rose Colored Glasses," but she still manages to look stunningly beautiful. The clip is visually captivating with Rowland in high end fashion dresses, corsets and hoddie tops as she fights with her ex lover whom everyone sees as the perfect man behind their rose colored glasses.
"Rose Colored Glasses" is a pretty song, with a big but not-quite anthemic chorus, a hard Tedder-esque drum sequence and some synths, that holds its own, and features Rowland's trademark classy, controlled delivery. The mid-tempo electro/synthpop ballad was written by Ester Dean with a synthpop production courtesy of Dr. Luke. It lyrically speaks of the darker side of a relationship that outsiders never see. Critics have praised the song as being classy for carrying more emotion. Meanwhile lyrics explores the subtle ways that perspective can truly change everything and telling a story of a relationship that, on the outside, seems troubled. Rowland's vocals are described as smooth and the song is said to open with an electro crescendo.
The video was directed by British fashion photographer John "Rankin" Wadell. Rowland turns her tears into art in the eye-popping video, which focuses on the pain of leaving a relationship, vivid colors and unique visuals. It's fairly successful, despite its simplicity and obriety. The video starts off with a demure Rowland who looks divine! The songstress exudes emotion through her voice, her facial expression, and scenes with her love interest. Rowland sports a number of hot looks in the clip, showing off her fashionista side; a tight white dress to represent innocence and knee high boots for a more seductive look!
Rowland may be shedding light on what really goes on behind closed doors in a relationship with a man many believe is perfect in the video for "Rose Colored Glasses" but, what really stands out is the imagery, the fashion choices and Rowland's seeming theme of breaking free. Former Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland is forging her third attempt at solo stardom with the release of a new techo-inspired dance album, featuring production by French music sensation David Guetta. The Grammy Award-winning singer just released the first music video for "Commander," which has been confirmed as the first single off that upcoming effort, is slated for release on September 14.
The video for "Commander" was filmed on May 5 with Japanese music producer and promo director, Masashi Muto, his work known for scale, impact and colorful imagery. Rowland faces off against herself and gets her groove on in the new video. Dressed in thigh boots and a Wonder Woman/Cat Woman inspired, wedgie causing body suit, the beautiful Rowland embarks on an alter ego dance off that goes absolutely nowhere. The two Rowlands, one is dressed in black, the other in red, start what appears to be a voguing competition on the dancefloor on a piece choreographed by Fatima Robinson, then are flanked by respective dance teams. There's some nice moves and Rowland sports some sexy looks for the video.
The video has a very futuristic feel to it, and it shows Rowland taking charge of those around her as a commander! The 29-year-old singer has talked about the video "The whole concept of the video is very futuristic and great. The red line in the story is that I am above all the lead I but in the club atmosphere with cool people. I fight against myself with my haircut, makeup, and dance moves."
The R&B singer Rowland really is trying to appease her urban fan-base with the release of her official Urban remix for International single "Commander," which is an uptempo, pop, dance song and has received crazy airplay and the reception has been overwhelmingly positive for this track.
