Lawson dress up in 1920's gangster style in their new music video for latest single, "Juliet," the second single from British pop rock band's upcoming repackaged version of their "Chapman Square" album, which will be released on October 13. The "Standing In The Dark" four-piece are set to follow-on from their huge success with B.o.B featuring single, "Brokenhearted" with a brand new video which sees the guys - Andy Brown, Adam Pitts, Joel Peat and Ryan Fletcher - are only bloody back with the help of model/presenter/friend of Keith Lemon Kelly Brook and her ladyparts.
The song, "Juliet," a guitar-twangy tune that sounds a little bit like Maroon 5 and a little bit good, was penned by frontman Andy Brown with Swedish songwriter Carl Falk who has co-written many of One Direction's hit tunes, as well as working with Westlife, Gavin DeGraw, The Wanted and Taio Cruz. "We're really excited for everyone to hear 'Juliet'," Brown said, while teasing the new song. "I ad a lot of fun writing it with Carl Falk in Sweden earlier on in the year and it's great that it's going to be our 6th single. It's got an awesome energy to it and we can't wait to play it live on tour later on in the year."
The Carly Cussen-directed video sees Lawson the boys getting all retro on us and take on 1920s gangster roles, while Brook vamping it up and playing a Jessica Rabbit-type sizzling femme fatale, a social climbing temptress and lavishes money and pearls and smoulders in a tight red dress as she goes on a killing spree while being serenaded by Brown and the other Lawson boys as they performing their pop hit with one of those weird massive microphones, suiting up and yapping on about Juliet and her 'al-e-gations' in a Saturdays-esque Jamaican accent.
Unlucky-in-love Brook, who has found a positive new outlook on life after her video appearance and latest Lynx adverts in Turkey. Flaunting her best assets in a cleavage busting red dress, the 33-year-old former Celebrity Juice contestant and model-turn-presenter channels old Hollywood glamor in the Betty Boop style frock with her hair styled into sexy waves and a stroke of scarlet lipstick, oozes sex appeal as she goes on a seductive rampage drapes herself around a nightclub before finding her target over the Lawson boys.

Lawson go through a breakup in 'Brokenhearted'

British Pop-Rock boy band on the rise Lawson have teamed up with the Georgia hip-hop player B.o.B, released the music video for their new song, "Brokenhearted," the lead single taken from their upcoming as-yet-untitled sophomore studio album, that's scheduled for release later this year via Global Talent Records, under exclusive licence to Polydor. B.o.B has delivered a Pop-friendly verse on this catchy little summer single, which isn't actually released until July 7th.
"Brokenhearted," was written by frontman Andy Brown and was recorded in London earlier in 2013. About it, Brown has explained: "'Brokenhearted' is a revenge song about karma. I had a lot of fun writing this one. I'm sure many people will be able to relate to it!" It's fairly by-the-numbers stuff, but it might help give them a little stateside push. The release of "Brokenhearted" follows Lawson's huge success in 2012 with their debut album "Chapman Square," with Coldplay-inspired anthemic pop-rock songs including "When She Was Mine" and "Standing In The Dark."
“Brokenhearted,” is a chewier nugget: More Maroon 5 than Chris Martin in its jangly, funked-out vibe. Still soulful. But mostly just really, really good-looking. As the four-piece pop rock band have described the song as a "turning point" for the band. "'Brokenhearted' is definitely a bit of a turning point for us as a band," Brown has explained. "It's my favorite song we have recorded to date. It was a dream to get B.o.B on the track," he continued. "The whole band are huge fans of his. He really took the song to the next level and we had a great time shooting the video with him."
The clip was directed by Declan Whitebloom and filmed out in the Hollywood Hills in California. It follows the story of a breakup, sees a mystery blonde female attempting to bury the memory of her ex-lover and has to watch her split with Brown through a tabloid lens, and as you might expect, it's pretty much the pits. B.o.B pops up next with an energetic, sunshiny verse, and what used to be a heartbroken cry-fest turns into a rooftop rager. Only problem is, Brown's ex is out for a night out on the town, and little does she know that the party she's attending features Lawson as the musical guest. It's basically every broken up couple's worst nightmare, and it kind of makes us glad we're not dating anyone at the moment, kind of.

Lawson gets a chance to "Learn To Love Again"

British pop rock band Lawson appear in the fire-themed promo to their latest single "Learn To Love Again," the fourth release following "When She was Mine," "Taking Over Me," and "Standing Over Me," from the four-piece group's debut studio album, "Chapman Square." The quartet calls themselves Lawson after lead singer Andy Brown’s doctor who performed a surgery on him to remove brain tumor, which was successful. The video sees them performing in a dark dungeon-style room in front of a host of energetic dancers and fire-breathers.
"Learn To Love Again" manages to keep their pop/rock sound in toe with a heavy guitar and drum arrangement throughout. It's the building pre-chorus with the synthesizers, the drum machine, and the "oh oh oh" chants that just explodes into a more surprising lyric-driven hook. To be honest we've pretty much had it up to here with Kings Of Leon/Coldplay-style "whoaah-ohhh" manchants, thanks very much, but Lawson do ridiculously overwrought pretty well and considering the only thing that could make this song better within the boundaries it has established for itself is a massive bagpipe solo we'd say they're onto a winner here.
"Learn To Love Again" is a sort of deviation from their past three singles in that all seemed to be about Brown's romantic misfortunes. The song finds Brown singing about finally had some luck with the ladies, being in love and reuniting with someone to give a relationship a second chance. The song tells of two lovers who have been through the bad times of a relationship, where the "darkness took its toll" as they were "in the shadows," but they've seem to make it through despite all the negativity surrounding them; Brown croons that "maybe that is how I knew you were the one." They were lost, but now they are found, sharing in what, in the future, may be the best of times for them together.
It's a rousing effort that blends Lawson's usual breezy guitar melodies with strobing synths and an anthemic, cooing chorus that places them somewhere between the youthfulness of The Wanted and the hooks of Bon Jovi. The result leaves us thinking that global success suddenly doesn't seem totally out of the question. The accompanying video is an all very dark and epic-looking live set from the band performing in a disused building while people with torches and boats journey this post-apocalyptic wasteland.
