Jennifer Lopez objectifies men in 'I Luh Ya PaPi'

Jennifer Lopez objectifies men and rocks familiar looks in her sultry new music video for "I Luh Ya Papi," featuring rapper French Montana, during Thursday's episode of American Idol. The saucy clip, directed by Jessy Terrero and shot in Miami, is the first music video off Lopez's eighth studio album, turns the tables on pop music, rap video stereotypes and objectifies men for a change. It also features throwbacks to Lopez's most famous looks of all time, including her "On the 6" album artwork, her "I'm Real" music video and the infamous Versace cleavage-and-more-baring dress she wore to the Grammys in 2000.
Produced by Noel "Detail" Fisher, this upbeat, summery "I Luh Ya Papi" finds Lopez expressing her "luh" for her beau, and she enlisted fellow Bronx native Montana, who jumps in at the end reciprocating the feelings for his true love. Released as the lead single from the singer's upcoming eighth album, the sunny and infectious tune got its first play during Lopez's trip to Power 106's New at 2 show with Yesi Ortiz on March 5, and has also spawned a remix from Big Sean. "My roots are hip-hop, my roots are R&B, my roots are pop, my roots are Latin," Lopez told Power 106. "All that always comes out in my records. I've always found that when I follow my own heart, that's when my music is the best. This album is right back to that for me."
Sick of all the under-dressed ladies that rappers like to have decorating their sets like sexy lawn ornaments? So is Lopez who's still Jenny from the block, as the 44-year-old diva clearly wanted to spice things up a bit, breaks it down and have men's bodies exposed for once instead of women's. That's why she decided to switch things up and put male eye candy in tiny bikini bottoms, slather them in oil and perch them around the pool. And it's pretty glorious! This isn't exactly moving us past the sexual objectification of music videos, but it sure is fun to watch.
After being pitched some lame treatments for video, the American Idol judge and her girlfriends dream up a concept where the men are the ones being objectified: "Why do men always objectify the women in every single video? Why can't we for once objectify the men?" Cue a fully-clothed Lopez sitting in bed with two naked men "for no reason" whatsoever. The entertainer and her dancer pals then change into matching denim looks before boarding their yacht. Once on board, the women are once again surrounded by quite a lot of the shirtless and almost bottomless men. Luckily for Montana who escapes the blatant objectification when he shows up for his verse. Watch Lopez turns the tables while paying homage to her past in this fun and flirty video.

Will.i.am & Miley Cyrus Keep are "Feelin' Myself"

What's a Miley Cyrus guest spot these days if it doesn't include the words "twerk" and "molly"? In the simple, sharp and spiffy new clip for will.i.am's "Feelin' Myself," the lead single appears on the new deluxe edition of the Black Eyed Peas mastermind's solo album, "#willpower," our pop's reigning queen of doing whatever you want all the time oozes all sorts of nonchalant braggadocio alongside the Black Eyed Peas honcho, Wiz Khalifa and French Montana. Amidst a background of sharp, shifting digital shapes, the four stars keep it simple and boastful, with Will getting his own cadre of clones to back him up on the dancefloor.
This club-ready track finds the Black Eye Pea leader feeling pretty good about himself as he brags about how his profile has risen over the years. And the futuristic clip is the latest example of Cyrus' budding MC skills, which she shows off in the video, along with her signature vocals on the song's hook. The party starts with Will and Cyrus posing on an all-black background as red geometric shapes flutter behind them. she joins him dressed in a black leather bra, matching high-waisted shorts, heels and a gold-chain pattern Chanel jacket.
"We be in the club, bottles on deck/And goddamit, goddamit I'm feeling myself," Will and Cyrus sing in unison, as the BEP boss switches through a series of fly outfits while "Terminator"-style digital graphics flash over his body. Montana's verse finds him hanging in the club, proving his swag by fanning a giant stack of bills and making it rain in his digital playground. "I made it to the top cuz I do it fly," Will raps over the spare, bouncy bass beat. "Feelin' f***in' lucky like the f***in' Irish/I see the whole game from my third iris/I tour the whole world like a dirty pirate/To give my whole club some Miley Cyrus."
Standing in the middle of an infinity shot of red pyramids, Cyrus does her thing, twerking out her NSFW bars about late, fuzzy nights. "Now everybody trippin' like they poppin' molly/Up in the club is where you find me," she raps. "I do it real big never do it tiny/If you 'bout the bulls*** don't remind me." The ode to looking in the mirror and liking what you see also includes some verses from Khalifa about, what else? Hitting the club with paper, bottles and his usual party supplies. By the end all four artists are bouncing around together on the futurescape before their images disappear like a TV turning off.

French Montana enlisted Nicki Minaj for 'Freaks'

Dancehall and hip-hop has always held close sonic ties. The Moroccan-born rapper French Montana is continuing the Coke Boy craze, and doesn't seem to be showing any signs of slowing down his grind. The "Pop That" rapper finally drops off the provocative visual for his dancehall-infused track, "Freaks," his sexually-charged collaboration with Nicki Minaj who steals the limelight in her pasties. The track will appear as second single on Montana's upcoming debut LP, "Excuse My French," duo May 21.
It's par for the course for dancehall-inspired cut, which samples both Li'l Vicious Destination Brooklyn track of the same title and Chaka Demus & Pliers' 1994 single "Murder She Wrote." It combines Caribbean energy, with a hip-hop twist. Minaj pays homage to her Caribbean roots on this dancehall-flavored track by using a rhyming style reminiscent of her "Beam Me Up Scotty" days, Minaj spits some sexually-charged bars over a beat and wastes no time squatting on a throne backwards while giving an eyeful of her assets and pasty-covered boobies.
Forget the demure Minaj at the "American Idol" judges table, the rapper goes back to her raunchy roots, bouncing her notorious backside in incredibly tight spandex, gold pasties and little else. Montana told Billboard it was a no-brainier to get Minaj on the track: "Nicki Minaj being from my home town, we were talking about doing something together, and this record was it. I wanted to do something different, especially with Nicki on the record with me, and Rico Love produced it. The game hasn't had a dancehall song, a Jamaican song like this in so long, and Nicki being from Trinidad and me being from Morocco, that record is international."
The Eif Rivera-directed visual finds the pair in the midst of a good ol' fashioned basement dancehall-esque type party and amongst a constant dance battle and plenty of Dutty Wining. Montana rocks furs, but it's Young Money diva's cameo that has everyone talking. While it is French's anthem, Minaj clearly outshines the Bad Boy artist with her physique, as she really came through, taking her top off, shaking her money maker and keeps eyes set on her with her leopard ensemble and gold pasties, dripping sex appeal.
