Girls Aloud debut "Beautiful 'Cause You Love Me"

Girls Aloud get seriously up-close-and-personal and bare their vulnerable sides in the stripped back seductive video for their emotionally-charged new single, "Beautiful 'Cause You Love Me," which follows hot on the heels of their lead comeback single "Something New" from their greatest hits collection, "Ten." Unlike their previous release which launched their 10 year reunion with a bang, this video takes an all natural approach pushing glitz and glam to one side in favor of nearly naked outfits, barely there make up and bath time singing.
So with Christmas approaching, Girls Aloud have decided to slow things down for their next single with a romantic emotional ballad with the empowering message behind it. Ballads were never why people loved Girls Aloud. This group's legend was built on dizzyingly complicated prog-pop bangers, which pushed the envelope of what a pop song could achieve, blowing fluoro-pink gum bubbles as they went. The gals have clearly been a bit clever with this one and appealing to our need for a big ballad, they've combined some awesome, soaring vocals with a video that involves everything necessary to get us well away on the festive bandwagon.
The "Something Kinda Ooh" hitmakers, who have reunited to celebrate their tenth anniversary, look elegant dressed in white gowns as they pose in white gowns and mime the elegantly-charged lyrics to their brand spanking new ballad, and the ladies do look breathtakingly stunning. Incidentally, it could be argued that Girls Aloud are beautiful 'cause of unfair genetics and the aforementioned nude lipstick, but that doesn't sound quite so catchy. So we understand why they went with a romantic angle instead, despite their fast-paced tracks tend to sell better than their ballads traditionally.
In bed and the bath with Girls Aloud. The English-Irish belles get all steamed up and dressed in next-to-nothing in sexy new clip, which was filmed in a big ol' mansion in West London. The song's musical visuals are just as soft, romantic, and gorgeous as the tune itself! The promo sees each of these lovely ladies roll around in between the finest silk sheets and a bath, posing in a series of artistic close-ups as seductively as they possibly can, until they are brought together to drape themselves across a lounge chair in a desolate house, and sing the touching words to the ballad.

Kylie Minogue blooms in raunchy "Flower"

Australian pop dynamo Kylie Minogue recently made her directoral debut, mastering her latest music video for the stripped down version of "Flower." The tune is the lead single taken from Minogue's forthcoming orchestral compilation pop album, "Abbey Road Sessions," released October 29, and is a celebration of her 25 years in music. We are diggin' these somberly beautiful images that compliment the pretty track.
The stunning lullaby aria was originally penned during the singer's sessions for 2007 LP "X," as she was undergoing treatment for breast cancer and never properly recorded the fan favorite - until now. The highly-personal ballad "Flower," is less in the dance-pop vein and more of a mid-tempo number with real drums and lush strings dappled throughout. It definitely falls into the Minogue love songs category, with its wistful lyrics comparing a loved one to a gentle breeze.
Minogue may be providing hints about her feelings on motherhood as she sings, "Distant child, my flower. Are you blowing in the breeze? Can you feel me as I breathe life into you? I know one day you'll amaze me." In an interview, Minogue explained that the song is about having a child: "People who have heard the lyrics have asked if I'm feeling broody. They don't realize the story of the song. It's a love letter to the child I may or may not ever have. I was coming out of (cancer) treatment." She also thinks the song puts her in fear she would never have children in the future.
Whether she's wandering through a wooded thicket or floating in a pond, the 44-year-old Aussie star transforms into a shimmering earth goddess, throwing sultry poses, and rubs her hands all over body in the artfully shot black and white promo, which is directed by herself. It featured Minogue lying on a chair with only a long sheer white sheet covering her while looking through a mirror, Walking along a beach, wandering through woods and fields, walking along a tree trunk, playing on a swing, lying and sitting in a meadow of flowers and lying in a pool. Visually striking, simple, a hint of early '90s cheesiness. we LOVE it!

Jade Ewen | "It's My Time" (UK Entry for Eurovision'09)

Jade Ewen was born January 24, 1988 in London, who won the right to sing the song "It's My Time" as a result of her winning the UK's Eurovision selection process on BBC One’s "Eurovision: Your Country Needs You" on January 31, and represented UK at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow today, in which the UK came in 5th place. In doing so, she became the highest placed UK Eurovision act since 2002. The song "It's My Time" composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Diane Warren, and was written specifically as the British entry for the Eurovision song contest.

Jade was sang her heart out in Moscow with "It's my time" and with Andrew Lloyd Webber playing the Piano. The show received an average of 7.8 million viewers, which is a 35.3% share of the UK TV audience. For me this is the best song they've had for many years, it's a nice ballad and a really fantastic song! Jade is very talented.
