Britt Nicole sings we are worth more than "Gold"

Britt Nicole is back and stronger than ever, and finally revealed the moving, teen-empowering video for the catchy toe tapping dance track, "Gold," her first-ever Capitol Records debut mainstream single and the title track from contemporary Christian standout's latest third studio album, which Nicole finds the sweet spot with "Gold," showcasing catchy dance beats with the star quality of a Disney Channel diva. Fans were waiting a couple of weeks to watch the video and it seems it was well worth waiting for.
Nicole has wowed the Christian music world since her debut, "Say It," in 2007, and the new album is a laser beam of positivity, and its intense, narrowly focused beam of empowerment picks up right where her previous efforts left off. The slick, shimmering and happy-go-lucky title track "Gold," is a potent yet joyful self-empowerment anthem and it showcases the passionately thoughtful lyrics that attest Nicole's strength as a songwriter. The song is a very uplifting one that basically tells everyone that we are all worth more than gold, no matter what anybody tells us.
Isn't that worth more than all the gold we can have? "Gold," also strives to help kids overcome feelings of lonely self-doubt and find their way to courage and confidence. In her own words, Nicole described the song as an ode to being true to yourself and knowing that who you are is good enough. Rising through the ranks has given Nicole ample opportunity to shower teen and preteen young women with her unmistakable message of identity. "Gold" packs a punch and gives the listeners a hefty topic to ponder, while also giving the arms and legs some exercise well.
The 27-year-old Nashville-based artist explains: "The message of 'Gold' is to remind those kids that are struggling that no matter what they have been told they are worth so much more than the words of another. Once you know that, no one can ever steal your shine." The new clip exactly matches the song which aiming to uplift and inspire with a worthy message, it features a cast of characters working through issues common among today's teenagers, such as eating disorders and self-mutilation.

Francesca Battistelli Debuts "This Is The Stuff"

Multi-award winning and GRAMMY nominated artist, Francesca Battistelli has released the music video for her multi-week No.1 hit, "This is the Stuff," the lead single from Pop/Contemporary Christian superstar's sophomore CD, "Hundred More Years," dropping across the States in March. Battistelli recently made Dove Awards history when she won the award for "Artist of the Year," making her the first female vocalist in 19 years to claim the elite title.
"This Is The Stuff" is an irresistible pop song crafted in the inimitable Battistelli style, but with an easily catchy secular touch that could make "This Is The Stuff" a crossover hit as well. Listening to track for the first time, I am reminded of Train's "Hey Soul Sister," and we all know what a hit that was. It is about being frustrated and annoyed by little things in life. Although I do not forget what a blessing this life is, this song still reminds me that the small things that drive me crazy aren't worth the effort I put forth in letting them drive me crazy!
This up-tempo tune was written by Battistelli, along with producer Ian Eskelin and Tony Wood, the song expresses the frustrations of everyday life that often drive us crazy, but in the end teach us patience and thankfulness. In our interview with Battistelli, she said: "I came up with like 20 different frustrating things, and we just picked our favorites. The idea of me losing my keys and my phone is very true to my life. I'm constantly having my husband call my phone because I can't find it, and then it happens to be in my purse or in my pocket - it's a very true line."
It was Eskelin's idea to use a ukulele on this track, which Mike Payne played on the record. Performing the song live, Battistelli plays the ukulele with two of her band members, forming a ukulele trio. She told us: "The song kind of took a different direction when we introduced the ukulele, but we love how it turned out, and it's such a fun song." The fun, animated video brings to life the 26-year-old the Dove Awards darling's smash hit single about taking life's little frustrations in stride.

Fireflight Offering Hope "For Those Who Wait"

American Christian rock band Fireflight have streamed the new video for their latest single "For Those Who Wait," the title track from band's third full-length album "For Those Who Wait," the highly-anticipated follow-up to Fireflight's breakout sophomore album, "Unbreakable."
Formed in 1999, they were the best kept secret of a part of central Florida that's not exactly known for its music scene, and they spent years playing shows and building a following for their female-fronted positive rock. All the hard work paid off when the Flicker Records debut "The Healing of Harms" introduced them to the world in 2006, and 2008's breakout hit "Unbreakable" captured the attention of Christian rock fans even more. Now over a decade since their career began, Fireflight is ready to unleash their third album "For Those Who Wait."
The title track "For Those Who Wait," produced by Rob Hawkins, once again delivers lead singer Dawn Michele's soaring vocals and the band's signature melodic Rock. it jumpstarts the album with a slightly new twist for them. Symphonic string flourishes are all the hard rock rage lately, and Fireflight uses them to powerful effect here. An orchestral intro clears the way for Dawn's first battle cry: "This is for those who wait!" and melts into a wall of thundering rock similar to Red or Skillet. The music ebbs and flows between softer verses and pounding choruses, as Dawn's voice alternates between the triumphant screams of the chorus and the fragile whispers of the quiet acoustic bridge. It's a powerful opener all around that recalls "Unbreakable" without being a clone, taking a slower, more methodical approach than its predecessor without sacrificing the epic feeling.
Great mix of symphonic and rock all in one song, "For Those Who Wait" introduces new musical elements coupled with vulnerable lyrics, offering hope and recovery to recharge listeners. A dynamic progression with songs, Fireflight encourages fans to reach out to a world eager to find healing and strength in the waiting, stating "the hard lessons make the difference, and the difference makes it all worth it." Remedy Drive Premiered New Video For 'Rescue'

The Nebraska-based Christian indie pop rock band Remedy Drive have just premiered the latest music video on Ransom.TV for their new Coldplay-esque single "Rescue," from their new "Daylight Is Coming" project, features footage shot in downtown Nashville before the recent flood left the historic area devastated. "If you've seen Remedy Drive live, you can't help but be struck by the band's energy and passion," said Kevin Adamson, producer for Ransom.tv. "Those are two components we really tried to capture in the video for 'Rescue.' The song is a perfect fit for Ransom.tv because of its rich lyrics and its creative approach to sharing the band's faith."
Christian music's rising rock act, Remedy Drive is a four-piece, four-brother(David, Philip, Paul, and Daniel Zach) band that has been cranking out their own brand of music as a full time indie for the past seven years, while becoming a west coast and Midwest audience favorite. Like most brothers, they had their fair share of squabbles growing up. And with no television at home to distract them, the boys had few other outlets for their energies. Although Remedy Drive is readying the release of their debut effort on Word Records, these guys are no rookies to making music. With a list of indie releases already under their belts, the all-brother band hooked up with artist/producer Ian Eskelin for their label debut, which helps bring out the best elements of the band's piano-driven pop rock sound.
