Ashley Tisdale "Cranks It Up" In New Music Video

The 24-year-old pop songstress Ashley Tisdale just premiered the new music video to her new single "Crank It Up" on Warner Bros. Records. Followed her lead single, "It's Alright, It's OK", it's the second release from the pop singer/actress' second studio project "Guilty Pleasure" which has been in stores since June. Tisdale's music is predominantly pop and has included ballads and rock. She decided to move to a pop rock style in her second album.
"Crank It Up" is the second single from her second studio album, "Guilty Pleasure". The song was written by Niclas Molinder, Joacim Persson, Johan Alkenäs, and features Sweden singer/songwriter David Jassy lending his vocal, will be released on October 17 as the album's second single. The music video debuted on Monday Germany via VIVA. The song is included in the German compilation album Popstar Hits. She performed the song on the German reality show Popstars. The German Maxi CD single includes two non-album tracks and will be released on October 16. The music video premiered yesterday fans via Ashley's MySpace website.
In less than a week, the 24-year-old singer rehearsed and shot the video in North Hollywood, the new video features Ashley’s good friend Wesley Quinn and was directed by the "High School Musical" alum's boyfriend Scott Speer. Ashley Tisdale is all grown up, and drills in the point that she's no longer than Disney star from 'High School Musical'. She channels her inner "black evil angel" in the video and she is also seen having a pair of black wings on her back. The Sharpay Evans of "High School Musical" series is also captured visiting and partying hard in the club.

Ashley Tisdale's Busy Week Includes New Album, Movie

For anyone wondering how Ashley Tisdale is charting her post-"HS Musical" career, all they have to do is look at this week. Tisdale not only has a new album, "Guilty Pleasure," hit shelves Tuesday, but also a new flick from the 20th Century Fox, "Aliens in the Attic," out Friday.
"They are both so different," she told MTV News about her music and her movie. "I want them(fans) to hear one and see the other. They are completely different. My music career is being who I am and connecting with the fans in that way." If you think it's a lot of pressure to have two big releases out in the same week, think again. The 24-year-old Actress/Pop Media princess said in interviews that "I don't put pressure on myself, and I don't like working under pressure. Listening to what I did, putting all that hard work in, I'm really proud of it. I think it's important for me to be happy with what I did." If fans really like "Aliens in the Attic" and "Guilty Pleasure", maybe Tisdale could end up at the top of the box office and the Billboard albums chart all in one week.
Tisdale's new sophomore album, "Guilty Pleasure" breaks out of 'High School' mode, and aimed at a more mature audience. The New Jersey native says she's taking her career to the next level, and the album was set on an edgier rock vibe. The cover features her in a tight black skirt and semi-revealing top, and her inspirations for the album's music. "Guilty Pleasure" might be "American Idol." Not only has Tisdale talked about her obsession with "Idol," but several of the songs on the album show a strong Kelly Clarkson influence.

Ashley Tisdale | "It's Alright, It's OK" (Video)

"It's Alright, It's Ok" is lead single by pop singer and Disney star Ashley Tisdale (born July 2, 1985) for her new sophomore album "Guilty Pleasure", which will drops in North America on July 28. The single package comes with the song and music video. This music video was shot on March 24 in a Beverly Hills mansion and directed by Scott Speer.

The track is a bit of a departure from what we’ve come to expect from the High School Musical star – it’s a little edgier with a slightly heavier rock sound. I think it’s great that she’s trying to experiment with a new sound and expand her talents. The most songs I liked by Ashley were "Time After Time" and "Unlove You". But this one a bit different, it sounds amazing, and looks incredible. Please enjoy!!!
