Nikki & Paul Debut "Now That I've Found You"

Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald are madly in love in a newly released video to support their love-lullaby duet "Now That I've Found You" on MTV's Hollywood Crush, and it's clear the couple is head-over-heels in love. The Twilight star, 23, and the American Idol alum, 27, released their single in November, right before the release of "Breaking Dawn - Part 1." The newlywed lovebirds give their fans a quick peek at their blossoming relationship, which they started a year ago.
"I'm always walking around the house with a guitar, and I'm always writing songs and stuff like that," McDonald told Hollywood Crush about their labor of love. "Nikki's a great writer and she always kind of sings along with me. I'm like, 'Dude, you have a great voice. Why don't we do something?' When we were on the way back from France, this song kind of happened on the plane. We just got together and wrote it."
The video was directed by Whitney Dean with Reed, who initially wanted to shoot a June Carter/Johnny Cash-esque clip, but she later opted for a simple and sweet story that tells the story of two people, and have it be more about the atmosphere. "I don't know if you notice, but there's a very specific choice in there with cuts and specific shots that are partial and you can only see parts of our mouths and hands. I don't want to dwell on the shots of us for too long," She explained.
The video shows the gorgeous couple walking through the forest, gazing lovingly at one another and provides a look at the couple's romantic life together. It also features shots of them getting lovey dovey in an empty field, singing together atop a rusted-out Volkswagen Beetle and Reed stares longingly into McDonald's eyes and as the folk music plays, we can almost see their adorable babies running barefoot on the beach as the two parents prepare an organic dinner. They enjoy a warm sunny day in what looks like a cornfield, gazing lovingly at each other while hugging and holding hands. We put a call into the couple to talk about their labor of love.
