Britney Spears marks her territory in "Perfume"

After teasing the music video for days on her Twitter and Instagram, Britney Spears has finally released sexy music video for her beautiful Sia-penned power-ballade "Perfume," the official follow-up to her first "Work Bitch" and therefore the second official offering, which is a shining light on the otherwise mediocre eighth studio album "Britney Jean," got a fitting video tribute, which features the femme fatale at her most vulnerable, trying to win the affections of her sexy onscreen love interest - played by model Alexander Kjellevik - who's really nothing more than a "womanizer."
Speaking with Alan Carr on his Chatty Man talk show, Spears explained: "It's about a girl that knows her boyfriend is cheating on her. She just wants him to smell her perfume so she can mark her territory on him; it's a really beautiful song." Spears also told E! News about the ballad, "'Perfume' is incredibly special to me because it hits close to home, and I think the story is relatable to everyone," she said. "Everyone's been through an insecure moment in a relationship that's left them vulnerable and I think this song captures that."
This song is synthesizer-free and full of emotion. Although being a beautiful song, and Spears' most lyrically weighty single in a very long time, "Perfume" isn't connecting, yet, with the general public in the US. As for the Joseph Khan-directed video, it's quite brilliant. The storyline for the music video is simple enough: Spears and her sexy video boyfriend have a glorious time together. They snuggle in bed, exchange plenty of hugs and dive into a motel pool. Unfortunately, as Spears learns in the clip, she isn't the only woman this longhaired hunk is snuggling with. See, he's also hugging a brunette, swimming in a pool with her and even cooking in her kitchen.
As the lyrics to "Perfume" suggest, Spears is getting two-timed. Things get hot and heavy between the two as she sings about being paranoid that his roaming eye has lead him back into the arms of his ex-girlfriend. And while she's not happy about it, she's not particularly angry either. No, Spears is just plain old sad. The pop star comes up with a brilliant way of letting a mistress know you exist: "mark your territory" on him with your signature scent. And that's just what she does in the video for the song. As Spears runs through the song, she often looks rather glum and angry, a natural feeling for anyone who feels then need to mark someone with their perfume. Will she get revenge, or, at the very least spark an olfactory-based blowout? Watch and see.

Britney Spears lives fancy in "Work Bitch"

Britney Spears goes back to her old ways and she's here to work, bitch. She invited us all on a journey back in time and even brought some whips, gags, and sharks to the party in her just-released new music video for her club-banger of a new track, "Work Bitch," the lead single from her forthcoming untitled eighth studio album, which is scheduled for release December 3rd. The S&M-themed clip is a vintage Spears. In a sex-dripping, flawless, ridiculous, weird, and fierce fashion we haven't seen from her in almost a decade, she, quite simply, gets to work. Bitch!
As expected, the song - written by Willi.i.am and Sebastian Ingorsso protégé DJ Otto Jettman, among others - is an EDM-influenced dance song and a full-on club banger with Spears giving fans the secret to her success, where Spears repeatedly encourages listeners to "get to work, bitch." The song starts with a strong club beat, before she sings, " You want a hot body? You want a Bugatti? You want a Maserati? You better work bitch!" she coos in the song's opening lines. The 31-year-old pop princess continues to tease the lifestyle that can be achieved by getting to work, as she continues, "You want a Lamborghini? / Sip martinis? / Look hot in a bikini? / You better work bitch!"
The track features mostly spoken lyrics, which serves as a testament to the fine things a strong work ethic can bring about. It sounds like the lights-out after-party to RuPaul's 1993 debut single "Supermodel (You Better Work)." The "you better work" call to action and its variant "work it," which wormed its way into the popular lexicon as encouragement for just about any kind of performance, but Spears uses it in a far more literal sense, explaining that a hot body requires hard work, as does the attainment of luxury goods. "Work Bitch" is a pretty relentless onslaught that reflects pop's current love for chucking in everything up to and including the kitchen sink.
Filming took place in Malibu, California, the steamy, Ben Mor-directed clip features Spears in a black and gold bustier and long black gloves. She's gyrating against a white wall, flanked by a myriad of female backup dancers dressed in leather, prancing their way through a number of different locations including a desert, a pool, and dimly lit club for some floor choreography in the middle of said barren desert. Of course, the lyrics to “Work Bitch” are about as random as the litany of settings in the video, so this potpourri of sex and bras and BDSM and muscle cars is really just a manifestation of the hodgepodge of hotness she lists at various points in the song. It's all very BDSM-nightclub dance-fantasy. In other words, classic Spears.

Britney Spears gets all Smurfy with "Ooh La La"

After teasing fans about the release of the music video for her lead "The Smurfs 2" soundtrack, "Ooh La La" for weeks, the clip for the new Britney Spears single finally debuted Thursday at noon. The 31-year-old songstress looks as gorgeous as ever. The kid-friendly track is a bright, sunshiny pop jam that perfectly caters to "The Smurfs 2" demographic, and as for the animated flick, it follows the Smurfs team after they team up with their human friends to rescue Smurfette, who has been kidnapped by Gargamel, will hits theaters on July 31.
Being vintage Spears with an oddly folksy pop-tart twist, Dr. Luke-produced catchy synthpop track is a sweet, slight, little love song that is about loving someone for their true blue self. The sweet spot of sugary synth-pop begins as a pure pop song mixed with electronica. The song then transitions seeing Spears speak-singing, Kesha style, over an electroclash beat. This is followed by an acoustic-guitar-driven section which is a fluffy, retro pop similar to Madonna in the early 1980s. "Ooh La La" contains a compelling breakdown that is full of scrambled vocals and dense beats. Spears' whimsical vocals contain catchy ditty layers.
Spears keeps it cute and simple in the Marc Klasfeld-directed Smurf-tastic new clip, which opening with a movie theater scene where Spears and her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James Federline are seeing movie "The Smurfs 2," Spears tells her sons, "Watch, this is the best part!" The evil wizard of the film, Gargamel, then zaps Spears with a bolt of electricity into the movie screen standing in the middle of smurf village, backed by a bevy of the little blue guys. The pop princess is shocked, but her boys think it is "cool."
What follows is four minutes of adorable family fun. Wearing a flirty crimson dress, Spears sings upbeat pop tune with the Smurfs in an enchanted mushroom forest. She stands surrounded by the three-apple tall creatures, holds Smurfette in her palm and crouches singing directly to the Smurfs, while we also see scenes of the Smurfs' latest adventure including footage of our pint-sized heroes beating up on a Gargamel piñata; their nemesis zapping folks in a theater and turning one unfortunate fellow into a duck and a hilarious sequence in a candy store in which the Smurfs get into all kinds of trouble.

Britney Spears Plays "Criminal" In Her New Clip

Britney Spears certainly had everyone talking when she dropped her steamy and already deemed controversial video for her new single "Criminal," the fourth official single from her worldwide smash "Femme Fatale" album. The 29-year-old pop princess and her real-life boyfriend Jason Trawick play a modern Bonnie and Clyde-style duo who play out their passions with little inhibition. It is guilty of being really racy, and more like a sizzling fantasy than just another music video.
Considered the only ballad of the album, "Criminal" is a guitar-driven midtempo track which incorporates a flute riff and a killer melodic chorus. This Max Martin and Shellback produced dark, downbeat tune finds Spears sings about being in love with an outlaw and pleads to her mother to understand why she's in love with a shady character and not worry about their relationship. It's influenced by the works of ABBA and Madonna, and the subject matter is similar to another disapproving parent-tune, Madonna's "Papa Don't Preach."
The accompanying porno for the song was filmed in Stoke Newington district of London and directed by Chris Marrs Piliero. It is set to follow the relationship between a woman in upper society and her lover. While the story line get moderately violent and steamy, the engaging film-like plot is too good for such a dreary song. The idea to include Trawick in the video was all Spears's, but director Piliero wasn't sure he was so into it. Now, the Bonnie and Clyde-themed visual has been officially released, and gun violence is just the tip of the iceberg.
As Spears and her abusive beau make their way out of the upscale party, with him yelling at her for standing up for herself as he flirted with other girls, they come across Trawick, who is playing one really hot bad guy with a heart of gold. The boyfriend slaps Spears, and he comes to her rescue Spears from an abusive relationship, then leads Spears on a crime spree that's, naturally, frequently interrupted so the two setting into motion their very hot and very naked love affair that some critics consider extreme, even by Spears' standards.

Britney Spears Battles Paparazzi In "I Wanna Go"

Britney Spears is once again displaying her humorous side and poking fun at the press in her new video for "I Wanna Go," which dropped Wednesday and finds the pop princess doing battle with cyborg-like paparazzi. The track is the third single from her seventh album, "Femme Fatale." The Max Martin and Shellback penned up-tempo number is a dance-pop and Hi-NRG song that includes elements of techno and a heavy bassline. Accompanied with a Euro-pop whistle motif and stuttering vocals, the song's lyrics feature Spears sings about losing inhibitions.
"I Wanna Go" functions as a sort of formal declaration and mission statement for "Femme Fatale," and it is not an innovative song, but it is fantastically effective and endlessly enticing with its liberating and cathartic chorus, repeated words and typically saucy Spears lyrics. The song is a delightful lampoon of the Spears obsessed media. "I Wanna Go" offers a bevy of pop culture references meant to ridicule the rumors about the star and finally no "dancing." The video offers an alternative Spears from the dancehall queen image that she has undertaken in order to promote her latest album. The still sexy singer has upped her sass since receiving ample criticism for her lackluster dancing and continued penchant for lip-syncing.
The music video was directed by Chris Marrs Piliero and filmed in Los Angeles. It depicts Spears daydreaming at a press conference about a series of events, including being chased by paparazzi cyborgs and being rescued by actor Guillermo Díaz. Spears has touched on her relationship with the media in the past, but perhaps not with this much humor or self-deprecation. The new video is, like some of her past clips, an all-out affront to the pesky paparazzi that follow her every move. But, unlike any video she's done previously, this one tackles the issue with tongue firmly planted in cheek.
The promo starts with Spears fleeing a press conference after being quizzed by reporters, asking silly questions like is she being pregnant with Brad Pitt's love child and whether she hates puppies. Spears then launches into a foul-mouthed four-letter tirade at the journalists, leaving the press conference and flashing a hunky police officer, who then frisks the star. The 29-year old diva then takes to the streets, attacking the paparazzi with her microphone, before realizing that it was all a dream. "I Wanna Go" video is essentially one long dream sequence and that fact not only makes it pretty funny, but it sets it apart from most of Spears's other work. And though we've done pop-culture cheat sheets for her other videos, rarely have they been as much fun as they were this time out.

Britney Spears is back with an apocalyptic vengeance in the new video for her pulsing single, "Till the World Ends," taken from her newly-released 7th studio album, "Femme Fatale," and released as a follow-up to chart-topping single "Hold It Against Me." Produced by Dr. Luke and Max Martin, and penned by Ke$ha, the equally club-friendly jam is composed as an uptempo dance-pop and electropop song with a chant-like chorus, where Spears sings about dancing until the end of the world.
"Till the World Ends" is a swirling, "beat the beat" track, the 29-year-old pop princess delivers confident and breathy vocals on the fast-paced party jam. Her main intention with her new single seems to be keeping the dance floor pulsating with sweaty bodies. The stadium-rocking pop anthem sets the pace of "Femme Fatale." Spears says, "I think 'Femme Fatale' speaks for itself... I wanted to make a fierce dance record where each song makes you want to get up and move..."
Spears dances away the apocalypse in her 2012, endtime-inspired video, which was directed by Ray Kay and filmed inside a basement in Los Angeles. Spears goes to the future, December 12, 2012 to be exact, while Spears appears strutting in an underground party wearing a studded leather jacket and stockings. It is set in a time when the world falls apart and Spears leads people to escape the madness by throwing an underground party. Several people are seen running to a manhole and enter the sewer system to arrive to the party. This is followed by a dance routine in which Spears is wearing a sequined bodysuit and a small jacket, while accompanied by female dancers.
It's no secret that in her 12 years, Spears has been the master of surprise. From that schoolgirl ensemble, to her eventual rise back to the top, she's become a bona fide expert in keeping the pop world waiting with bated breath. "Till the World Ends" is nearly the 40th music video Spears has made in her career. When asked if she feels she needs to top herself with every project, she responded, "Not really. I feel like I've made so many videos that I'm at the point that I genuinely want to enjoy myself, and I have such a good team of people with me. we just have fun. It was a lot of fun. I had never worked with Ray Kay before. I was really happy with the work we did."

The still-chugging pop sensation Britney Spears's heavily-promoted music video for her new hit single "Hold It Against Me" has finally been unearthed in full on Thursday night, and it's standard Spears: black leather, a couple of skimpy outfits and one princess gown to hammer home the innocent-naughty dichotomy that is the theme of pretty much all of her songs; backup dancers who can't get enough of her and a futuristic, space-agey theme.
This bass-thumping dance track is the club-banging lead single for her forthcoming seventh studio album, "Femme Fatale," which is due in the U.S. on March 29.
