B.o.B. Enjoying Some Vacation Time In "So Good"

Right on schedule, the Atlanta rapper Bobby Ray, aka, B.O.B. presents the latest music video for his new single "So Good," the third single from the Former XXL Freshman's upcoming sophomore studio album, "Strange Clouds," will be in stores May 1st. The 23-year-old has been showing a lot of growth with "Strange Clouds" thus far, and "So Good" is no exception as it has the ability to catch the ear of pop, R&B, and hip-hop fans alike.
The track, produced by OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, is a feel-good song with a lighthearted, piano-driven beat. On the effervescent track, the rapper gushes about the amazing girl he fell in love and all of the places and sites that he wants to see with her. B.O.B. described this cut during a listening session interview with Mack of Sound-Savvy as a, "victory lap song with a big sound that a lot of people will gravitate towards." In concept and sonically, it reminds me of OneRepublic's current single "Good Life," but has quite a few differences. Not a rip by any means. I could hear it as a feel-good summer single for the pop stations.
The track is already pretty upbeat, but this clip adds a little more flavor with B.O.B.'s lover boy ways, and it looked like he was spending a lot to keep her around all over the world and caters her to the finer things in life, so far so good? Directed by Justin Francis, and Shot in ultra-high quality and filled with egotistical lines about pleasing ladies with his life of luxury, "So Good" is the type of performance heavy clip we have come to expect from B.O.B. Nothing new, nothing fancy, but great for anyone that is already a fan. The visual is also available in 3D, exclusively on Nintendo Video.
Throughout the jet-setting video, B.O.B. continuously spoils the lucky lady travel the globe with exotic trips and luxurious gifts, escorting her to places like Buenos Aires and Paris. Marble halls, museums, city streets, cafes, the Trevi Fountain and palm trees highlight the pair's adventures across the world, and the feel-good visual perfectly matches the mood of the Ryan Tedder-produced song. In a recent interview B.O.B. described the video saying, "It's basically me taking my significant other around the world to these different places and it really illustrates that in a very artistic way."
