Lionel Richie & Shania Twain have 'Endless Love'

Lionel Richie and Shania Twain reunited to film a beautiful video for their "Endless Love," the lead single from Richie's just-released country collaborations album "Tuskegee," which has poised to notch his best sales week since his highest charting album in 1986. "Endless Love" was originally recorded in 1981 as a duet between Richie and fellow soul singer Diana Ross. Richie has re-recorded his legendary by inviting Twain to sing him with in a new updated version of the song. In this ballad, the singers declare their "endless love" for one another.
Born in Tuskegee, Ala., the 62-year-old funk-R&B-pop balladeer has "gone country" on his latest collection, "Tuskegee," which finds him hooking up with Twain, in country duet makeovers of his greatest hits as a solo artist, as well as with The Commodores. "Lionel Richie is not going country, I've always been country, I lived in the country," said Richie, "It was a stretch for me to go pop. It was a stretch for me to be an R&B singer. I'm not a soul singer. I'm a storyteller."
Twain, 46, hadn't released any new music in five years and was suffering from a vocal condition called dysophonia. She was struggling with her voice at the time, and Richie had to go to her in the Bahamas to record the duet. She is slowly comeback after revealed her new single "Today is Your Day" during the show "Why Not? with Twain on the Oprah Winfrey Network." If you missed that episode, you also missed Twain's emotional performance with the legendary Richie.
Set at a beach side home in the Bahamas, the clip is pretty much everything we've always wanted in a romantic duet: A serene beach, a white baby grand, and of course, a horse. Twain closes her eyes and lets her emotions do the work; Richie spends much of the video inside the home, watching moving pictures on the wall of Twain on the beach, riding her horse and spending time on the dock. The light colors throughout the video and the easy, carefree relationship shown between the two when Richie emerges from the house to meet her on the beach bring the song's timeless lyrics to life.
