Disney star Selena Gomez & The Scene (aka Selena & the Scene) have finally dropped their new music video on the Disney Channel today for the new single "Round and Round." Pulling inspiration from Kylie Minogue, circa 2001, "Round and Round" is the official follow-up to her platinum hit, "Naturally" and is Gomez's first single off her upcoming album, which will be the lead single for their upcoming sophomore album, will not only continue with the Dance-pop/Electronica style but will also incorporate a Reggae sound, slated to hit stores September 28.
"Round and Round" was produced by Kevin Rudolf and recorded entirely in Budapest, with the catchy and upbeat tone, was premiered through Radio Disney Firday. It has the Disney protégé venting about a relationship going well in circles. The dance-driven track with disco back beats ventures into a new genre for the poppy singer. Of the effort, GomThe teen sensationared with host Ernie D on Radio Disney, that the new album will should mark a shift in her evolution and show her growth as an artist. "I kind of have a different vibe with each song." She adds, "I really am putting my heart into this and this album is dedicated to my fans. I'm really just trying to make it the best I can for them. You can really see my growth in this album and that’s what I’m excited about."
The clip features the 'Ramona and Beezus' beauty is wearing light gray-colored coat and strutting her way on the street of Budapest, Hungary as a sexy and glamourous spy trying not to get caught by other undercover agents played by The Scene members. The secret agent theme vid is nothing spectacular and doesn't really make any sense what so ever but it's cute and Gomez looks gorgeous and petit as always, playing an undercover spy!
The 17-year-old songstress will be touring for the rest of the summer, and also stayed in the capital city of Hungaria to shoot her new movie "Monte Carlo" along with Katie Cassidy, Leighton Meester and Cory Monteith. The film is co-produced by Nicole Kidman and eyed to be released in 2012.
