Kellie Pickler Debuted "Didn't You Know How Much I Loved You"

The new music video for Kellie Pickler's latest single "Didn't You Know How Much I Loved You" directed by Roman White, debuted on CMT on September 11. The song is the third single from 23-year-old country artist's self-titled second album, written by Chris Lindsey, Aimee Mayo, and Troy Verges, and was released in August. It is a power ballad, backed primarily by piano and electric guitar. The female narrator describes the feeling of losing the one she loves, and how she can't believe the reality that he's really gone.
The song was originally featured as a track on Pickler's debut album, "Small Town Girl." It was later re-recorded and included on Kellie Pickler, from which it was released as a single at Pickler's request: "I love 'Didn’t You Know How Much I Loved You!' I was gonna put it on every album until it was released as a single. I guess they figure this might finally shut me up."
The most powerful songs are often born from exposing a simple truth that is the root of a given emotion; they are born when their writers break through the barrier of convolution that stands between what we know how to say and what we feel, when clouded and distorted context makes way for raw essentiality. There is no more essential post break-up question than Pickler's "Didn’t you know how much I loved you". It's a great hook, and great enough that we're not going to remember how average the rest of the song is, only the tremendous power of those words.
Kellie Pickler is turned out to be one of American Idol's most successful contestants. She turns 'American Idol' fame into country music career. The video was shot on a beautiful beach in the Dominican Republic. It begins with Pickler sitting on a bed, before making her way outside to a balcony. She is then shown standing among ruins, and then walking along the beach. Kellie’s video ranks No.2 on on GAC’s Top 20 Country Countdown.
